Lex and her father shared a deep connection, and after he died, a part of her broke away. She became slightly insane, with a certain disregard for order and tidiness. She became intact with the spiritual side of magic and lost interest in academia. However, her interest in Charms, Herbology and the Light Arts remained. She loves to fly, and was a Team Seeker.

She has only one regret. She hated her home village. She was the best hunter they had, with perfect aim and impeccable tracking skills. But the sexist men wanted her to remain a common house wife, like her mother. Several men tried to marry her, and some where quite aggressive in doing so, but she was the most powerful witch in their village and most would end up severely hexed or missing. When they burned her bow and arrow, a gift from her father, she flew into an uncharacteristic outrage. She refrained from killing anyone directly, but many men were injured and several houses, including the Town Hall, were burnt down. During the chaos, she abandoned her mother and baby brother and set out to find work. She was welcomed at Durmstrang as the caretaker. She is troubled to know that she had left her mother to raise the baby boy on her own, and to think she will never see her family again.

Because of these incidents, she finds it hard to trust men completely. News has reached her that a young girl, around the age of eight, was killed in one of the fires she caused. She no longer trusts herself, and is very dangerous when angry.
