Student Exchange Program

Attention all students:

I am Sacha Rusnak, Highmaster of Durmstrang Institute for Magical Learning. It is with considerable pleasure that I announce a new Student Exchange Program between Durmstrang and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

This program is open to those students in the fifth year of their education. Naturally, you will want to send in your application at least the year beforehand. You will need permission from a parent or guardian, as well as a reference from your current Head of House and approval from the head of your school.*

What you hope to gain through this program: Well, I was originally meant to attend Hogwarts until my aunt changed her mind at the last minute. Mostly, though, I just want to experience how things are different at Hogwarts, and work on improving my English. It's bad. My accent when speaking English defies comprehension. I'd really rather not get such strange looks when I visit a store while on holiday...

What you hope to gain through this program:
I hope to gain the knowledge of culture and diversity. Although my country of Russia is a diverse and rich in culture, I believe that the United Kingdom does too. I aspire to be Minister of Magic one day I believe that this position will not only help me with my communicating skills between countries but it will also help me develop connections with people in England.

What you hope to gain through this program: As an extreme adventurer, I always take the incentive to run off to new places. I've ALWAYS loved to travel. It doesn't help that a brother of mine went to Hogwarts and is always stating it's amazing. I've read about Hogwarts, and I've heard it's an extremely fascinating place. I'd absolutely love the experience to met new people too. Pick me!

What you hope to gain through this program:
I've been learning Russian over the years but I've never visited the country, sadly. I believe that if chosen to be an exchange student, I will learn great new things that I may not be provided in England. I've also heard of how great Durmstrang is and would like to visit and study there if I could.

What you hope to gain through this program:
Knowledge. I put a lot of my time into studying and learning. I think that being at Durmstrang will give me that great opportunity, no doubt. I enjoy meeting new people and I have no doubt that this will be no different. Although I love Hogwarts, I've attended Salem's which enabled me to experience the American culture. I believe that Durmstrang will be able to provide me with the Eastern Europe culture that I yearn for.

What you hope to gain through this program: I'm out to learn about the world, its culture and its languages. Travelling and languages have always been two of my biggest passions, and I would definitely love to see England. I know a couple of amazing people there and I'd definitely like to know more about its wonderful adventures.

What you hope to gain through this program: I think Russia is a really interesting country and the language is really exciting. I want to meet new people and make new friends, as well as going to another country with my school-mates would be really fun. The classes I know that are taught there are all really interesting and I want to see if the school is much different to Hogwarts and I want to experience the difference between the culture and the nature and everything. I want it so much.

As much as I love Durmstrang, I don't want to be kept in one place visiting the same stuff over and over again. I also hope to gain, some knowledge that they don't teach in Russia, and try not to blow up Hogwarts I also want to see the difference between Hogwarts and Durmstrang.

What you hope to gain through this program:
I was supposed to be attending Hogwarts, but my father got transferred right before first year. It has always been a dream of mine to study there and I think this would be a great opportunity for me. My English is great, but after living here for a few years, it's not as natural as it was. I hope to fix that while studying abroad. Also, I think this would be a great chance to just start over and make new friends. It will teach me responsability and independence, and I will have to work harder to get good grades on subjects that are not taught at Durmstrang.
