Lesson Two (First Years)

David smiled as he opened the door to his classroom for the first years. This was one of his favourite lessons to teach on the entire syllabus, though he had no idea why.

Returning to his desk, he stood on his chair and wrote at the very top of the board "Fairy-tales", before dividing it into two and writing "Wizard" on one half and "Muggle" on the other.

Pixie was walked into class. She looked around and saw her professor, hopefully, writing on the board.

"Hello sir. I'm Alexandra Fawkes, but everyone calls me Pixie. I'm sorry I wasn't here for the first lesson. I'm new." She introduced herself with a slight smile.

This professor didn't seem strict as the ones from her old school.

Hurrying into the classroom, Alyssa stumbled a little, but didnt fall, phew she thought, how embarassing would it be to fall just walking in the door. She carefully walked up to the only other girl in the room and asked, "Do you mind if I sit here? I noticed we're in some of the same classes, and I dont know anybody else." Holding her breath and fearing rejection, the gryffindor bravley stood, waiting for an anwer.

"Sure, no problem. Have a seat," Pixie said smiling, "I'm Alexandra Fawkes, or usually Pixie Fawkes." Pixie was rather used to people and this girl seemed nice.

Relief flooded through at Pixie's words.
"Thanks, I'm Alyssa but my friends call me either, Padfoot Jr., PJ, or Lyssa. Sorry! it's a lot." She said laughing, and taking a seat. She pulled out her books, some parchment a quil, but also a spiral notebook and a ballpoint pen.

"Its no problem, I'll call you PJ if you don't mind," Pixie said smiling. She was glad she made a friend.

"That'd be cool!" Alyssa smiled glad she has a friend.

Emily took extra time getting ready this morning as for she knew she had Muggle Studies and was told the Professor was quite cute, she placed on her shortened school skirt with stockings and curled her hair so she had loose curls at the ends

She then made her way to the first floor for Muggle studies, she burst into the classroom and gave the Professor a wink " Hello Professor, im Emily" Emily looked over at the two students and realized that they were first years, she pulled out her timetable and it stated she had Muggle studies

She then looked up at the Professor " Sorry Sir, is this a combined class?" Emily asked with a confused expression

Asric would firstly murder him for missing the first lesson of this class, and secondly be miffed at him for taking the class. Nevertheless he wandered into the lesson, no doubt late, and took a seat casually towards the back. Ravenclaw or not, he was in no mood to contribute himself to lessons. Even not paying attention, so long as he read the material he'd be able to pass any test.
