The Naked Mile (OPEN)

Why he was doing this, wasn't entirely clear. But every fiber of James' being had decided that the idea of running through the Great Hall in his underwear was the best idea he had had in a while. It was as if, if he wouldn't do it, he would die. So naturally, he had to do it.

So that was why right now, he was standing in front of the doors to the great hall in his boxers. It was a good thing he had worked out during the summer, because he at least had a flat stomach and slightly broader shoulders than an average person. Which was a good thing when one decided to be half naked in front of the entire school, including the female population and ones girlfriend.

James hopped up and down on his bare feet, it was awfully cold, showing so much skin. He counted to three in his head and then swung open the door. As soon as he saw all the people, he was hit with a wave of panic. What the hell was he doing and why was he wearing any clothes?! It didn't take him long to realize that his brain had been tampered with. But he wouldn't let himself known.

James took a deep breath and started to stride through the Great Hall, pretending as if it was the most normal thing in the world, being half naked in front of all the teachers and students.

Well, at least they were having pasta for dinner.

Karma glanced up and grinned. It was about bloody time he got there. That potion shouldn't have taken so long to activate... but that was neither here nor there.

She looked down at her plate before wolf-whistling, so it looked like someone else did it. She turned toward the door and let out a snicker. "What do you know, it looks like we've finally found a Ravenclaw with more than just brains." She said with a smirk.

Before he could even know it, she was behind him, laughing at the thought of various punishments this Ravenclaw is going to get from her. Nova caught him and pulled his ear.

"What the bleep do you think you're doing?", she yelled, but couldn't help smiling in the same time.

James felt his ears heat up when someone wolf-whistled, but forced himself to keep a grin on his face. As long as he kept that grin in place, people would believe this was planned. Oh, sometimes James wondered why the hell he got sorted into Ravenclaw. It certainly wasn't because he was very smart.

When he felt a hand on his ear, he yelped. When he saw the Head of Slytherin stand behind him, he had no idea what to say. So he just went with the first thing that popped into his mind.

"Well, someone set my robes on fire, but I didn't want to come late for dinner. So I decided it would be best to just go like this," he said, motioning to his body with his hand. "You don't think someone minds, right? I really didn't want to miss the pasta," he added.

Karma raised an eyebrow as her head of house came to make the fun end. Not like she'd let that happen. Pointing her wand at James sneakily under the table, looking around at her friends to make sure she wasn't suspicious looking. Nonverbally casting Tarantallegra before she asked her friends what they thought was going on.

Aria's brows raised as the Ravenclaw entered the Great Hall so sparsely attired. Wasn't he cold? Furthermore, she now knew that it was considered socially inappropriate to go about in one's underwear. Not that Aria ever fully caught on to the whole modesty thing.

Still, the situation was rather amusing. Especially when someone cast tarantangella into the mix.

"It would seem he's too hot," Aria remarked to Karma, casting the other girl a glance. She kept a straight face. There was a time she would have probably meant that. The blonde smirked down at her plate, wondering just how many would assume that she was being serious this time, as well.

Karma snorted and smirked at Aria. "It would seem so, eh?" She stabbed her spagetti with a fork and raised it to her mouth, chewing as she looked around the hall for the reactions others were having.

She would have easily casted a spell that would stop his dancing, bit she was too busy with laughing that she couldn't do anything. Why am I enjoying this so much?, she wondered, and started to frown.

Melanie sat at the Ravenclaw table, her best friend Lola, sitting next to her (even though Lola was a Hufflepuff, but the two girls liked to sit together so they always chose one table to sit at, today the Ravenclaw table had been chosen.)

The blonde was in the middle of questioning the red haired girl about Josh Renaldi a.k.a Mel's best friend a.k.a Lola's boyfriend. "So you guys are just BAM back together? Did ya ever even break up really?" she leaned forward, raising her eyebrows at her friend. "I mean he was gone for like a yea-" she stopped in the middle of the sentence when she noticed that most of the people around seemed to be staring in the same direction, her face turned slowly to the left.

She gasped. In the other end of the room, one James Jackson stood, only wearing his underwear. "James!" she squealed, probably not loud enough for anyone far away to hear.

Someone wolf-whistled in the room and Melanie felt her cheeks reddening. "What the hell is he doing?" she turned to Lola, demanding an answer from the red head and keeping her eyes away from her (very fit) half naked boyfriend, that was now dancing.

Lola sat at the Ravenclaw with her best friend Mel, piling food on her plate as Mel kept asking her questions about her relationship with Josh.

"Well, yes, or no... I don't even know. I don't think we broke up, seeing as he never said anything to me about breaking up or taking a break. So yeah, I think we're back together.. or still together.. or.. I just don't know. It's complicated." Lola said and took a sip of her water.

The water didn't even reach her throat, because she spit it out almost immediately, when Mel's boyfriend, James, walked in, wearing nothing but his underwear. The look on Mel's face was priceless and Lola just started laughing.

"Maybe he's hinting that he wants more than snogging from you?" She said and started laughing again.

Mel stared at her friend, mouth open and resisting the urge to scream again. She closed her mouth again for just a second, before she opened it again and spoke. "We don't usually snog, without our clothes." she snapped, before sighing and her voice softened, though her cheeks kept the red colour. "This is so embarrassing!" she said, stealing a glance at her boyfriend and groaning.

"Do I do something? Ishegonnawalkoverhere?" she shrieked out the last part, dropping the fork in her hand on the floor. "I.. just.. what.. WHAT. IS. HE. THINKING? Clothe him Lo, clothe him fast! There are people staring at him! His half-nakedness, they should not be allowed to watch what is not theirs!" she pouted slightly at the last part.

Pixie walked into the hall and noticed everyone looking toward Melly's boyfriend. He seemed to be dancing around in his underwear. Pixie started to laugh. She looked at Melly and laughed again.

"Hey Mells How are you?" Pixie asked as she made her way over.

Casey had wanted to surprise her sister Alyssa in their first class. After all, her adoptive sister thought the family was still in America and didn't know they'd moved back to Ireland so she could go to Hogwarts too. But all those plans went out the window when the boy walked into the Great Hall mostly naked. Especially when he started dancing.
The boy was obiously hexed and she could sense the waves of embarrasment rolling off him. So she did the first thing she thought of. She joined in.
"ALL RIGHT, DANCE PARTY!" Casey screamed at the top of her lungs. She ran over to the Hufflepuff table, where she could she her sister Alyssa sitting and dragged her up and over to the boy, hissing on the way "We moved back, it's great to see you too, now we're going to help that boy!"
When she reached the boy, she dropped Alyssa's hand and threw out her wildest dance moves to the non-existant music.

Alyssa had been eating her food, and minding her own buisness, when suddenly lots of people started looking over at the entrance. When she looked over, she saw a boy in only his boxers, DANCING! She kind of shrugged and felt sorry for the boy, but didnt really know what to do. Someone screamed something about a dance party, when Alyssa picked her fork up. Then just as she was about to put it in her mouth, she was grabbed from behind, then something was hissed in her ear but she didnt know what, becuse the second the words touched her ears, she stopped. She recognized the voice! That was her sister!! Her sister had come back from America!! That ment that this summer would be spent at the manor in Ireland again, and she would be with her sister, and everything was back to normal.
All of a sudden she was let go, and when she turned around she saw her sister dancing crazily to music in her head, it was a verry funny sight, a boy half naked and a black haired girl dancing to completely diffrent songs, that no one else could hear. So, to rectify the no music problem, Alyssa pulled out her wand and made dance music start to blast through the hall.
'I came to dance, dance, dance, dance I hit the floor cuz thats my plans, plans, plans, plans...'
Alyssa then put her wand away and started dancing to the beat, hoping other people joined, but not overly worried now that her sister was there making a fool of herself right next to her.

Casey was glad her sister had known some sort of spell to get music going, because she hadn't known one herself. "Thanks!" she screamed in Alyssa's ear, over the pounding music. "Now I've got one of my own that Mum taught me!" She waved her wand and laughed at the surprised looks on people's faces when the lights suddenly dimmed and pulsing red, yellow, green, blue, and purple lights appeared from nowhere.
Casey was glad other people had decided to join in so she didn't look quite so stupid. She really hadn't been thinking when she rushed out into the spectacle and joined right in.
"Hey, can you take the spell off?" she yelled to Alyssa. "He doesn't seem to be enjoying it!"

"Not sure, I think," Alyssa said a few words under her breath, and the boy suddenly stopped dancing, "Your spell was cooler than mine!!" Alyssa laughed. "I hope we dont get into trouble for this!" Then Alyssa desided she didn't care, and just started dancing.

Karma placed the spell back on James from under the table, enjoying the veiw of his dance. She stood when her granddaughter did. "Are you just going to let this happen, Proffessor?" She demanded of her Head of House, gesturing to the two girls dancing for no reason. "What is going on?"

James felt it as a spell was cast on him, and he started dancing even though he didn't really want to. He saw the Professor was laughing, so he tipped the hat he wasn't wearing and then kept on going to the Ravenclaw table. He was trying very hard to ignore the catcalls, and walk with as much dignity he had left. Which was quite a lot still.

James suddenly felt the spell on his feet break and let out a breath of relief as he was no longer dancing. But before he had reached the Ravenclaw table entirely, the spell was recasted again, and he continued dancing. James groaned, but he wasn't about to show that he was annoyed. He grinned instead and reached for his girlfriends hand as he had reached her. "Come on Mellykins, dance with me," he said with a charming grin, tugging on her hand to get her to stand up.

Alyssa was annoyed to say the least. She was trying to help the poor boy who people kept picking on. So she canceled the spell again unnoticed. Hoping whoever cast it finally got the message that the prank was over.

Melanie lifted her head from her hands when she heard the familiar voice of Pixie. She looked up and groaned. "Hey Pixie, stop laughing." she pouted. "This is not funny!" she stole a glance at her boyfriend again, before groaning again when she noticed he seemed to be walking towards them.

"I will hurt him." She said, mostly to herself before she bent down and grabbed the fork she had dropped on the floor earlier and placed it on the table roughly. She then looked from Pixie to Lola, pouting once more. "At least he's not the only one dancing anymore." noting the two other girls that seemed to be dancing as well, before grimacing slightly.

The blonde watched carefully as her boyfriend came closer and closer, but when he was almost there she turned her attention towards the food, trying her best to act like she hadn't realized he was there, until he spoke up and his hand was offered to her.

"Your mother must've dropped you as a child, James Nico." she said, shaking her head, but couldn't resist a smile and let the boy drag her to her feet. "Are you going to tell me why you're not clothed and are dancing? Is this a part of a strip tease I missed the beginning off?" she raised her eyebrows, but again a smile tugged at her lip. She sucked at trying to be annoyed for a long time with people, especially James.

Karma called out a "yes" in answer to the Ravenclaw's question to her boyfriend, but quickly started eating so no one would notice it had been her. She looked around with the rest of them to try and see who'd said it.

Pixie laughed at James and Melly. They looked cute. She was rather sad that her fun was ruined by everyone else dancing. She enjoyed watching James make a fool out of himself, spell or not.

Pouting Pixie waved good bye to Lola and Mel and headed over to Karma. "Hey Karma. Enjoy the show," She said smirking. She hoped Karma had something to do with what happen. It seemed rather boring so far around school and Pixie wanted something fun.

Karma grinned up at the Gryffindor. She usually didn't mess with them, but Pixx was pretty cool. "Why, A Ravenclaw Strip Tease? What isn't to like?" She waggled her eyebrows. "Besides, life at this school has reached an all time low, it's about bloody time someone spiced it up."

Aria had brought a hand up over her mouth as things went from amusing to downright absurd. Finally, despite her best efforts, a burst of giggles escaped from her. She turned to look at Karma after the Gryffindor girl had passed by.

"You are incorrigible, sister mine," Aria declared with a grin, eyes sparkling in a manner matching eyes would have failed to achieve. "Brilliant prank, that one," she remarked casually.

Karma smiled conspiritually for a split second before schooling her expression and sitting back down. "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, sister dearest." She said in the most innocent voice she had. She winked at Aria, a small smirk on her lips as she ate another fork of spagetti.
