Going for a Swim [Open] Empty Going for a Swim [Open]

Post by Gorneh Sun Jan 29, 2012 1:37 am

Aragorn stretched out his muscles, grunting as he stretched towards the sky and loosened up his body for his exercise. He did this on average four hours a day, every day so that he could keep himself fit and top shape. He was a forgetful little Ravenclaw and he'd forgotten about the message that his headmaster had reported to the whole school, to stay in a group and to be where you were supposed to be. What did he care? Nothing would want to kidnap him, he was too annoying to most things that try to bug him. He yawned as he bent over, putting his hands on the ground between his feet and grunting as he felt the muscles release pressure and help him relax.
He stood up straight again and jumped up and down a moment before setting off on a run around the lake, feeling the wind in his hair and setting a smile upon his face. He loved this, he loved it a lot. Without his robes on, he felt free and unrestricted by the immense amount of clothes around his legs and torso. His wand sat in his sock, keeping it from snapping or firing at him from his back pocket. The pants he wore were sweat pants that he'd brought from home, and his shirt was a gray wife-beater. It was fairly gray and cloudy outside, indicating rain on the way. He wouldn't mind though, it would be refreshing for him.
As he ran around the lake, halfway along, he remembered the squid that lived in it. He wondered, what would happen if he went to look for it? Would it hurt him? If it did, he could just sue the school for injuries, right? Or would they consider it ignorance that he went looking for the squid. Either way he didn't care, he'd still try it. He stopped next to the water and looked around, checking to see if there were any people around. Seeing that there wasn't, he took his shirt and pants off and threw his shoes and socks over with them, taking his wand and sliding into the water, gasping at the cold water.

It watched. The boy had been running. From what? There was nothing. Perhaps it was simply a thing that children did. No matter. Its purpose must be served.

Emerging from the shadows at the edge of the forest, it morphed from canine to human-form, great, black wings growing out from its back as it walked. By the time it had reached the boy, the usual feathers along its neck and forearms were in place.

Taking the boy by the shoulder, it pulled him back from the water, glancing between it and the boy, as though confused as to why he would venture into it in February.

"You will come with me," it told him in rasping monotone.

Aragorn started to pace out towards the water but was stopped and pulled out again. Once out, he whirled around and glared at the person who'd done so. He had planned on cursing at them but the sight of this creature surprised him into silence as he stared at the beast.
He swallowed and admired the black feathers coating it. It seemed human, but the wings didn't belong. He swallowed again, wand in his hand and at the ready as he asked nervously, "Why? Who are you? What do you want?"

It tilted its head. All these children, and all making similar queries. They didn't understand. No matter.

"You will come with me," it repeated, reaching out to grab his arm.

Bridget had just finished her homework for Potions and needed some air, she decided to walk down to the lake for some quietness. With her iPod turned on, Bridget walked down to the lake. Arriving to the lake, she saw a boy she recognized from the common rooms swimming in the lake, but there was someone with him or more like a something.

Bridget remembered the letter all the students had got, about someone kidnapping the Hogwarts student. Realizing who or what was with the boy, she ran as fast as she could down to the lakes.

"ARAGORN! ARAGORN!" She yelled trying to get his attention.

Luckily Asric had been in the school grounds when he spotted the crow and the boy. Without a seconds thought he was running straight for them, Ghost running along beside him.

"STOP! YOU ARE NOT NEEDED HERE LEAVE THE BOY ALONE!" He demanded his voice taking on the authority only a powerful Headmaster could take on.

It looked up. A girl was approaching. The girl would come, also. Before it could throw the boy over its shoulder, a man ran towards them, shouting.

    This man had authority.

So, disregarding the boy, it moved around him, moving with superhuman speed to the girl who was still some distance away. Its purpose must be served, after all, and the Authoritarian had said only to leave the boy alone.

Grabbing her, it hoisted her up and took to the sky.

While running towards Aragorn, Bridget heard someone behind her. Someone with great power, looking behind her she saw Headmaster Asric running behind her.

'Thank god Headmaster Asric is here. He'll be able to stop fix this mess.' She thought.

When she looked back towards the lake, instead of finding the ghostly figure and Aragorn she saw the ground. She felt herself get hoisted up. Then she realized that the figure had taken her instead.

"Dang it" she said aloud, "HEADMASTER ASRIC, ANYONE HELP!!!" She screamed.

Aragorn's head whipped around when the girl's scream called his name, distracting him from the creature trying to take him away. He recognized Bridget, she was a year above him and shared the common room with him. He noticed the taller, older figure behind her and recognized the Headmaster, Asric Chaos. Well that was a relief, but once he'd noticed him, the Crow had already flown away from him, going for Bridget.
He yelled after it as he ran to help her, casting a spell but missing both of them by a few feet. He couldn't reach her now, she was up too high. The only way he would be able to do anything would be to jump out of the tree and grab onto her. And that could hurt her.
"Headmaster! Help her, please!" Aragorn yelled to the man that had saved him, already running to the tree and trying to climb up it. It would be his fault, he knew it, if she was taken.

It tipped its head slightly as it flew, the structures on the ground growing smaller as it gained altitude. The girl did not seem happy, judging from her loud voice. All but one of the others had not seemed happy.

No matter. Its purpose must be served.

    It flew faster.

Bridget was frightened. She didn't know what was going on, a million questions ran through her head.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a little nauseated, and found herself going upwards even faster.

"WHO ARE YOU?!?! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?!?!" she yelled, while kicking it, "LET ME GO!!" She screamed.
