Lesson Three - 3rd Years

Miles walked into the Greenhouse and walked up to his desk and placed his bag down, he then glanced at his watch to see the time. Miles then scanned his eyes round the Greenhouse until he found what he was looking for, several Bloom Bella plants

Miles then pulled out his wand and flicked his wand in the direaction the plants, they all floated onto the students benches, Miles then picked up a piece of chalk which was on the edge of his desk and wrote " Goblin Wart" on the board. He then walked around to the front of his desk and leaned back waiting for his third years to arrive

Anna went into the class, rolling her eyes and she sat quietly on a chair. She only stared at the words on the board and read her Herbology textbook.

Iris waved at the professor lazily as she arrived at the classroom and went ahead to sit beside her Ravenclaw friend who, like her, is not really in the mood. She slumped lower onto her chair and took no interest of the words written on the board as she wandered in her imagination.

Miles looked up and saw two girl enter the Greenhouse, they looked totally disinterested, he wasn't surprized it seemed like since he'd taken this post on the students found Herbology one of the more boring subjects taught at Hogwarts

Miles then decided it was best to start the lesson as for it was due to start in a couple of minutes " Ok girls we may as well get started with the lesson. Today we will be learning about Goblin Wart, this is a a very vicious disease which most magical plants are affected by"

Miles then gestured to the Bella Bloom plants in front of the students, " Now notice with the Bella Blooms, a plant which normally produces powder blue flowers and has a beautiful golden stem. But as you can see the plant has these large greenish knobs on them and the entire plant has changed colour to a dirty green colour"

Miles then paused for a moment looking at the plant with a sadden look, he then focused back on the students " Ok so what I will get you guys to do is do a sketch of this Bella Bloom in your noteboks, and be sure to note that changes it has occured"

Iris nodded slowly, gazing at the plants in front of them. She gave out a sigh, grabbed her notebook from her bag, and began sketching the specified flower with a pencil. Not exactly sketching artistically, but doodling rather. She dragged the pencil across the blank paper, every now and then sneaking past the Bella Bloom for a cleared distinction.

The Slytherin rested her head under her left hand, wondering when will the period put to a stop, as she labeled the changes with arrows and underlined words. Making sure she's not writing nonsense stuff that can be the effect of the hangover.

Miles then waited for 10 mintues as the students drew the diagram into their books, then stepped foward " Ok so im pretty sure you guys would have finished that diagram by now, so we're going to be learning how to remove these goblin warts"

Miles then flick his wand at his draws in his desk and to scalpels floated onto the students desk, " Ok so firstly go over to the shelf over there and grab a pair of gloves, and when you return to your desk, make sure your wand is handy" Miles then leaned back on his desk and waiited for the students to prepare
