LESSON THREE (ALL YEARS)

Scar was pleased to find out that more students had signed up for her class as compared to the last lesson. Just hope all of them actually show up, she thought to herself with a slight grin. She sat on the table, waiting for everyone to arrive.

Ciar strolled serenly into the classroom sharpening her small Bowie knife as she walked. The scraping of metal against stone was like a small symphony in her mind and she could almost see each individual sliver of metal as it was honed from the blade's edge.

Nodding in greeting to her Head of House the teen chose a spot against the back wall far enough from the door to be out of the way but close enough to leave if she had to. Ciar tended to get carried away when it came to her combat and she'd allow the professor to kick her out of class if it was needed.

Leaning against the wall Ciar rested one foot against the wall, her shoulders relaxed but ready. It was never a good thing to be caught unprepared especially in a class where fighting was the norm.

Aquila walked into the room and looked around. The one girl present seemed to be older than himself so he figured it was an all years class.

This should be fun he thought with a small smirk.

He waved to the room in general and settled in his spot. Ready for class to start.

He entered the room happily and found a seat near the front but not to close. He pulled out his wand and noticed the girl from the forest. He watched the door for the other duelers.

Sheba stepped into the room, one hand in her robe pocket, the other holding her bag over her shoulder. A quick glance around revealed only three other students, and much to her enjoyment, one happened to be Whelan. She smirked as she made her way inside, tossing a teasing wink at the girl before finding a spot in the middle of the classroom. She leaned against the wall and tilted her head downwards, keeping her eye on both the front and back of the classroom.

Selena arrived in class after seeing the other years already there. She gave a low grunt, thinking about what could happen if all students raging from higher or lower years would be here. What could be the situations. What's even the point of mixing, if on the first place, no one will talk one word to another. Especially to a none-compliance girl like herself when it comes to friendly gestures. She's a zero on that.

The Hitrost greeted the professor with a short nod as she walked over towards an available seat away from the others.

Ira came into the classroom with a scowl on her face. She seemed to be walking around the school with that expression her face most of the time. The girl gave a nod to the professor before taking a seat at an empty desk.

Klara walked into the classroom, with a mixture of nerves and excitement, she couldn't wait to learn some proper dueling spells, as for all she knew where just some basic hex's and she knew they would be useless in a dueling situation

As she looked around she saw there were already a few students in there already, as she made her way to the third row she noticed that a few of the students were some what older than her. Klara found an empty seat and sat down

She then glanced around the room, getting a better look at who was here

Lena shook her head. Was she always in a class with the weirdos? Sighing, she took a seat on the far right, furthest from the door.

As Paloma walked down the hall, she noticed other students - some older, some younger - entering the Magical Combat classroom and sighed. This would be an "all years" class.

She put on a smile when she got to the door, though, and walked in, greeting the professor.

She looked around and saw mostly 1st years. A 2nd year from her house was there, as well as two 4th years. The only 3rd year so far was Lena, so she decided to sit near her.

Ophelia walked into the room with a grin.

"Looky Professor I'm on time for once," she announced with a grin before looking at everyone else who seemed to already be preparing for battle... or at least refusing to talk to anyone else.

"What a social bunch we have here today," she commented with a grin before flouncing over to the corner of the room.

Roman glanced around the room, holding the hand he had scraped from falling earlier. That particular hand seemed to get injured a lot. At least it's still here, he thought with a small smile.

He took out his wand and held it in his other hand, occasionally twirling it between his fingers as he waited for class to start.

Humming quietly to himself, Afonka walked into the classroom, noticing a large collection of ages in all the students present. All years, interesting. Unlike some people who'd recoil at the idea of being around people of differing years, he enjoyed it. There were things to learn from people of all ages, and that way a variety of different friends could be made.

Sitting down, he smiled at the professor, waiting for the lesson to begin.

Niko walked into to the room happy to be in class. It was going to be a good day. Looking around he noticed several students already here. Shrugging he made he was to his seat with a small grin on his face.

The girl entered a classroom and politely greeted the female professor that was sitting on her table. She found herself an empty seat and looked around, realizing that she doesn't know anyone there except Lena, so normally, the seat she took was right beside her.

You couldn't say that she was of befriending mood, but she hoped that, perhaps, maybe, only maybe, she'll finally get to meet someone of the opposite sex.

Klara saw a girl enter shortly after her, she seemed stuck up like she was better than everybody else in the class. Klara watched the girl take a seat and let out a sigh

A small smile appeared on smile Klara's face as she saw how ridiculous the girl was What a wannabe, someone needs to tell that girl she trying to hard Klara thought to herself, she then reached into her bag and pulled out her copy of Witch Weekly and began flipping through the articles looking for something to pass the time

Yefrem walked into the classroom. He looked around, and noticed that there ewre a lot of people there. He sighed to himself and walked to an enpty desk and sat down.
Yefrem was exited to be there.

Sergius walked into the classroom, an emotionless mask on his face. The boy's hate for his brother was growing by the day right now, but there was nothing new about that. He nodded to the professor slightly before taking a seat.

"Alright, let's begin without further delay. We discussed about the spell, 'Protego' in the previous class. Basically it is a shield charm that creates a barrier to deflect spells." Scar grinned at her students. "I'll be assigning each of you partners and one of you will cast a spell while the tries to create the shield. And vice versa."

She began reading the students' names from the list. "Whelan and Wolf, Vorstenbach and Vikenti, Montague and Alkaev, Morozov and Turrow, Krux and Sinnov, Poots and Carvus, Ritter and Sicarius, Lagunov and Krukov." Once she was done, she said, "If you have any doubts on how to perform the spell, don't hesitate to ask." She sat on her desk and thought, This is going to be interesting to watch.

Aquila looked up and listened closly for his name, which seeing as for the most part it was the most English sound it wasn't that hard to find.

The only problem was he had no idea who Morozov was. Good think Aquila had no quams about attracting attention to himself.

He waved his hand in the air, "Turrow here, which one of you charming companions would go by Morozov?"

Ophelia flounced over to the third year Hrabrost boy - she did pride herself on knowing everyone at least by name, and if there is any good gossip about them she could put it to them too.

Lucky for Alkeav he didn't have anything she could think of yet.

"Alright there Salior, lets get going." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and tapping her fingers on the desk as she waited.

A smirk slowly formed on Sheba's lips the moment the teacher called out her and Whelan's name. She chuckled as she pushed against the wall and sauntered towards the other girl. It really was too perfect. After their interesting little chat at the amphitheatre, she was looking forward to talking with her again. Liamz just became her favourite teacher.

The smirk widened as she stopped directly in front of Whelan, mischief dancing in her eyes as she said, "Hello, Cutie. Looks like we've been paired together.”

Flicking his gaze up to the girl who bounded up to him, Afonka smiled at her. Standing up, he watched her for a moment, taking a few steps away from the other groups, "Alright. Do you want to defend or attack first?"

Roman walked towards the Hrabrost that he recognized from the sorting ring at the beginning of the year. He had a knack for remembering things like that. Roman extended his hand, "Sicarius?"

He smiled at the boy, remembering how timid he was during his first year when he had to take classes with the older kids. Of course, he was an unusual kid, and this Hrabrost probably wasn't the same, but Roman wanted to be nice to him all the same.

He looked around thinking Sinnov, Sinnov... umm, first years name came to mind... First Year umm, Slushatel... First name, hmm, first name is......... Klara

"Um, Klara Sinnov..." He had no idea what she looked like but at least he knew her name, house and year, he found an open space and waited for her. He flicked his wand to has hand.

He kept his eyes out for any movement in his direction.
