'twas a black wedding {NYX, ANYA T.}

Lena felt utterly bored today. There was nothing to do at the moment but sulk, because she had heard of the Crow and her mother made her stay at Durmstrang until the fuss calmed down, and at this rate, it would never calm down. Urgh. Lena hated being trapped. The only way she could possibly feel any different is if Rhys was kidnapped, and that was unlikely to happen.

She sat close to the water, waiting for her friends. She had sent some of them owls to meet her there, because... really, she didn't know. She needed people to talk to, and not the person she was constantly seen snogging in the halls with. Biting her lip, she shook her head as she waited.

There were no words to describe her boredom since weird things started to happen in Durmstrang. It seems like nothing really interesting happens around me, she thought, frowning slightly and looking around, as if she was waiting for someone to kidnap her, like I said, nothing happens to me. Except for mom's death, but that didn't happen to me. Still, she'll be avenged.

One of her new and closest friends, Lena, had sent her an owl which said to meet her by the water's edge. This ought to be good.

Finally she saw here, standing there, waiting for her and possibly others.

"Lena", Nyx called her, waving and smiling slightly, "hey, what's up?" It wasn't normal for her to smile at times like this so she pretended, to keep her friends calm and her father satisfied. She wanted them all to stop worrying about her.

Lena grinned when she saw Nyx from afar and waved back. Nyx was one of her closest friends. Lena herself had been slightly scared of her father, but other than that they had a harmonious friendship. After all, what was not to like about her?

"Not much, Nyx," she replied merrily, patting the ground next to her. "You?" She then looked up at the sky, which was somewhat sunny, and it should be since this was March already. "I want you here 'cause all of that Crow crap is actually making me paranoid of heading out here alone. Urgh. And Lena ain't afraid of much."

She smiled as Lena waved back and suddenly made a weird face. "He's going to kill me you know. He probably already knows that I'm here, he got someone to follow me, I can feel it, but he doesn't want to make a fool of himself in front of you. Dad will punish me later, but guess what? I don't freaking care." Her face went from blank into a happy one. "I think you're a bad influence. You made me appreciate stupid things in life, and important things like friends and going out. Oh, and having fun."

"Nothing much also. Just thinking about how the end of my life is going to come so soon. Well, I had my good times. Actually I didn't, but I don't think he'll care about that."

"Stupid Crow", she murmured to herself.

Lena shrugged her shoulders. "Well, at least I'm not the only one with a stalker dad," she laughed, flipping her hair behind her back to get it out of her way. "If Dad knew about this Crow crap, he would have a bodyguard around with me. He can afford one..." The blonde laughed when she heard she was a bad influence. "I am? Wow... never thought of myself that way," she mused. She nodded. "Sodding crow indeed."

In the distance, the Uchitel spotted her best friend. She waved over at her, patting the ground on the other side of her.

"Hey Tels", she greeted her friend and smiled slightly, "oh, nothing much, just chatting about stalkerific dads and bad influences. You know, the usual madness of our generation?"

She felt the warm sun on her face and turned towards it, enjoy the ticklish feeling on her face. "It's really awesome out here, don't you think?"
