Ksenia stood in front of a full length mirror, giving herself a final check. She didn't know why she was trying so hard. Abraxas didn't deserve it. When he said that their wedding was today she knew that she couldn't back out. Almost all of her hope died that day. She was being coerced into an abusive marriage and there as nothing she could do about it.

Behind all of the nonexistent crowds, Abraxas could finally smirk his fullest smirk; he was finally getting married to... well, not exactly the love of his life. Just the object. He adjusted his suit, and waited for... he didn't know, exactly. The sun was shining beautifully on this March day, and the sooner he can get married, the better.

Ksenia real sided she could not stay in the room any longer. With a sigh she exited, shutting the door behind her. She was getting married at fifteen. There were plenty of things wrong with that fact already. A small snarl settled onto her face as she came through the door that led to the backyard. It was hard to spot Abraxas. He was standing about ten feet away from her, smirking. It took all of her willpower not to slap that smirk off his face.

Abe could sense Kyra - oh, or was it Ksenia - watching him with a hard eye, and he had to resist all urges to fight back with a witty remark. He finally turned around from his mirror and started walking slowly towards the backyard. It was about to begin, and Merlin - it was going to be something big.

Ksenia"s expression darkened even further as she saw him come towards her. He did not even have the decency to arrive before her!

"Who is going to marry us?" she asked him coldy as he finally came to stand beside her.

Abe rolled his eyes. "I'm marrying us, you idiot," he snapped angrily. Honestly. "Would you think I would let anyone else know about this? Unless, of course, Phillie goes shooting her mouth off."

"Why did I have to dress up then? If this marriage isn't even going to be legal?" Ksenia said as she looked down at her dress, adjusting the shawl.

"Um, I don't know," Abe began sarcastically, "there's something called Imperio and I know how to use it well." Shaking his head, he knelt down on one knee and took a deep breath. "Well..."

Ksenia just gritted her teeth, but didn't say anything.

"Well what?" she snapped at him, not sure were thing we're supposed to go from here.

"Well... you're mine, and that's how it goes," Abraxas snapped. He rolled his eyes. "Life ain't a fucking movie, and you ain't no fucking princess, so nothing else needs to be said other than those words." He stood up and straightened himself. He coughed loudly, hoping to scare her.

Ksenia sighed in frustration. "You saying that is not going to get us married!" she snapped at him. "Isn't there a certificate of marriage to sign?" she asked.

She just glared at him as he tried to scare her, not impressed st all.

"Yes, there is," Abraxas replied bluntly. He turned out a piece of paper bearing both their signatures from his pocket, showing it to her. "Look."

Ksenia looked at the document, almost feeling her blood running cold. She was married. Without even knowing it. "Good," she said, her voice as cold as ice. "I can get of this dress then," she snapped as she stormed back inside the Manor.

"No, you are not!" Abe called, grabbing Ksenia's (urgh, that name sounding horrible in his head) left wrist. He then let his fingers walk slowly on her arm and went back to holding her wrist. He inserted a ring on her ring finger. It was actually quite nice, with a flower and all. "Well, now you are."

"Will I have to wear it in school?" Ksenia asked, only sparing the ring a single glance. It was her wedding band. But she didn't care. The wit h went inside the house and out of the door. She didn't want to just stand there and talk to him and instead went and poured herself a glass of water.

Abe rolled his eyes. "Of course you do," he reasoned, shaking his head. "Be thankful I chose to get you a nice, new wedding ring and not get one of the fake, plastic ones from Phillie's jewelry box." He watched her go into the house by herself, and decided not to follow her. He decided to watch the sky, his expressionless face unchanged.

"You know, that would have been much better," Ksenia drily said of her shoulder as he remained behind.

"Haven't you learned to be grateful, dear?" asked Abe, turning around from facing the sky. "You are lucky to still be very much alive."

"Luccky my ass," Ksenia muttured to herself as she took a seat on the couch. She knew very well that it would be against his own interests to kill her. Or perhaps in her case death was better then this torture.

"Your ass is lucky; it's still in one piece," Abe replied, smirking. He adjusted his tie. Abe was the Uchitel out of the two, so he was probably to make a witty remark at anything Kyra said.

Ksenia blushed scarlet at his words before looking down at her dress. She didn't say anything else, instead just fiddled with her shawl, the anger inside her growing even more.

Abe saw Kyra blush and that made his smirk widen. Her discomfort was his pleasure, after all. "What's the matter, Volans?" he asked, putitng a cigarette to his lips and lighting it.

Ksenia didn't say anything, just looked across the room. For gods sake, why did he call her by her last name? She hasn't even used it for years.

Abe rolled his eyes. "Well, fine! What's the matter, Kyra? Ksenia? Sokol? What the fuck do you want me to call you?" he asked, his voice rising with every question he blurted out. Urgh. He hated being married already.

Ksenia just glanced st him for a few seconds, disgust clear in her gaze, before getting up from the couch. "I will go take this dress of finally," she said as she headed out of the room. She had no want to remain in that garment for any longer.
