Personal: All that Taryn remembers from her young childhood is that she was born. The next thing she remembers, she's five and adopted. She's empty, and alone, and orphaned. Her "mother" is always some degree of drunk, and unmarried. Taryn is alone...and that's okay with her. But she remembers her little sister, Avon, 9 when she died (she would be 12 now, and Taryn's 15) who she watched die...who she watched be killed.
