LESSON FOUR;; THIRD & FOURTH YEARS

Laetitia crossed her legs as she marked some essays some of the other classes had handed in to her that morning. She made sure to leave her greenhouse door open so her third and fourth year students could enter and settle down. She hummed a tune, waving her head back and forth so she can let herself loose.

Lena entered the class, glad to be the first one there. She beamed at the Professor before she sat down at the front, staring avidly at the plants around her, barely noticing the headbanging professor.

Rhys halted in the doorway of the Herbology classroom, breath inexplicably caught in his throat. Lena.

Tearing his gaze away from the girl, the boy made his way over to a seat and sat - on the other side of the classroom. The redhead dragged his textbook from his bag, careful to keep his gaze on the desk.

Tessa walked into the greenhouse. She was proud of herself, because she was a little bit early.

She then walked over and found her a desk, where she was by herself.

Lena smiled when she saw Tess came in through the door, and waved over to her. "Tessie!" she grinned, "come over and sit next to me! You can't be alone like that!" She patted the stool next to her, trying to look as happy as possible. If she were in a different situation, Lena would only wave at Tessa, not ask her to come sit next to her.

Her face fell when she saw another figure came into the room. She swallowed up all of her courage and announced, "Hey, Rhys." She tried to look at him, but she couldn't. She could only look at the floor.

Tessa smiled as she got up. She then keep telling herself. " Don't trip in front of them." She then grabbed her bag and then started to walk towards Lena.

But before she go near her, she tripped over her feet and fell on her face.

Ophelia flounced into the greenhouse, and looked around at what there was too see. And admitedly, what there was to see was interesting. Lena and Rhys on opposite sides of the room.

At least it would be intersting if she hadn't stored gossip of their break up ages ago. Now it just sort of seemed...

Tragic.

Oh god! That stupid boy was ruining her. Getting into her head.

Of course... he wasn't stupid.

Artemis now fully in her head, she gave the room a soft smile instead of her usually overly beaming one.

"Hello, everyone," she greeted. She waved at Tessa and Le, before turning to Rhys. Normally she wouldn't care but the poor boy looked so tragic, and well lonely over on the otherside of the room. Good god she really was broken.

Still, she flounced over and sat herself beside him. "Hey there sailor, ready for some planterific fun?"

"Phillie!" Lena grinned, waving at her. She then turned back towards Tessa and shook her head in disapproval after watching the young girl fall flat on her face on the floor. She huffed, standing up and helping her freind to get up of her feet. "You didn't have to move!" she announced in an angry tone, but soon after she started laughing. "I don't mean to sound so angry, but come on." She held her hand out for Tessa to take so she could walk back to her seat.

But not before she could steal one more glance at Rhys.

Tessa could feel a small bruise forming on her face. But she was used to this and falling. She then could feel Lena helping her up. Tessa but on a small smile, because she could tell that Lena was a little bit angry with her. But she was only trying to be more independent. She was back on her feet again, how she hated to fall in front of anybody. But this happened in front of Lena and whoever was in the class. “ I know I didn't have to move, but I don’t' want to depend on a lot of people.” Lena then took her hand and lead her to her seat.

"Good day Professor," Frodo greeted with a smile and took a seat.

"Morning Professor," Paloma greeted, a big smile on her face. Oh, what a good night's sleep could do to a person.

She gave a small smile to everyone else and looked around for a seat, choosing one near the middle.

Lae nodded, clapping her hands to start the class. "We all seem to be here... well done! Now, someone tell me about the Abyssinian Shrivelfig."

Tessa rasied her hand. "A Shrivelfig is a magical plant that originated in Abyssinia. When skinned, the liquid inside the plant, which is purple in colour, is used as an ingredient in the Shrinking Solution, just as the "shrivel" in the plant's name would seem to suggest, and the Elixir to Induce Euphoria."

Rhys had done his best to conjure a smile, at least, in response to Lena's greeting, but he was certain that it had failed miserably.

The redhead looked up at Ophelia, managing to turn his lips up at least a little this time. "Hello," he said quietly, then shrugged. "I guessed."

He wasn't in the mood to try to answer the professor's questions, so he quietly took notes instead.
