Ty's small house was a mess. Not that he noticed exactly, but... well, it had always been oddly clean before - he'd never thought about why, but it had been - and now it was .. was.. was..
Well it wasn't.
His hand shook as he held the bottle in his hand. God he thought the longer he'd left that alone the better those would get. No such luck - they just got worse and worse. His whole body spasmed for a moment and the bottle slipped from his grasp shattering against the floor, the precious liquid it once held seeping out on the floor.
The young man swore rather loudly, before staring at it blankly. After a moment he stooped down to pick it up the shards, only to slice his hand rather deeply on the jagged ends.
He blinked at the wound for a long moment, some how feeling numb to the pain. Slowly he watched the blood ooze, and drip down his hand.
He counted the drops as they hit the floor.
One. Two. Three...
He staggared over to the couch and sat there for a long moment, blood oozing onto his pants but he was still too far gone to care.
Slowly he stared around him at the chaos as the haze lifted ever so slightly.
He flinched at a strike of pain came to him.
Tyler Marks had finally hit rock bottom.
