by Miles entered the Owl Emporium he's mother had given him some money to purchase an owl, seeming as this was going to be his first year at Hogwarts and his first year away it was important he could send letters to them, just in case the family owl was busy.
He looked around all these different kinds of owls, he walked up to a light brown spotted Forest Owl. It liked kind of scarey at first, but then after awhile it hopped closer towards Miles, it seemed to be warming up to him Miles was begining to like this owl and was quite set he might get it
The shopkeeper walked past Miles and noticed him looking at the owl "Ah thats old Ingenium, she's been here for 3 years now no one wants her cause she ain't as pretty as the others, that and she seems to always be in a bad mood" Miles gave the man a weak smile before turning back to the owl
The story which the man told him made him feel sorry for the owl and made Miles want her more
