Tonight is the Night Empty Tonight is the Night

Ninette strolled causually inbto the pub, giving it a cursory glance before snagging a seat.

She did not mind appearing alone, she knew it would not stay that way for long. She could convince someone to sit with her should she be that desperate - but she never would be. Ninette did not mind solitude. It was rare that she would find a person she could tolerate anyways. The only personality she could truely appriciate and depend on was her own.

Smiling at the young gawky bus boy who was spending more time looking at her than doing his job, Ninette leaned back in her seat, took a sip of her water and waited, wondering just what she was going to do.

Quinn walked into the Félicité, Quinn heard about this place from one of her friends. Quinn ordered a smoothie and went to find a seat. Quinn was walking to a table when she saw a girl that looked familiar. Quinn looked to see a girl who went to the same school as her but she remembered also seeing this girl at the graveyard. Quinn wasn't completely sure though.

"Excuse me, did I see you at the graveyard once" Quinn asked, but it was a stupid Question because now she remembered the girl.

Ninette looked at the voice to see a face that she possibly recollected but, being Ninette did not bother to try to find out where. If the where did not appear instantly, than obviously, the person was not important enough to be in her notice.

Of course, when she meantioned graveyard, the young girls face completely shut down. She did remember where she had seen the girl - now - it was the girl who had the misfortune of speaking to her when shehad been visiting Simon. If anything got Ninette into more of a mood than she normallly was, it was anyone who saw her anywhere near close to remembering Simon.

So of course, after blinking for a moment, she put a smirk on her face and completely denied it.

"A graveyard? As if I would waste my time in such a morbide place," she drawled slowly. "No- you must be mistaking me for someone else."

Quinn watched her look around. Quinn was studying the girls face, when Quinn said graveyard she knew the girl remembered her. Quinn watched as the girl looked at her drink but then grew a smirk. Quinn watched the girl lie to her face. Quinn was always good at knowing when people lied to her, it was a gift she gained from her father. It was Quinn's turn to grow a smirk and look at the girl.

"Oh so that wasn't you, just like it wasn't you that I talked back to" Quinn nodded. "Uh, well okay, if you don't remember what was the name.... Oh yeah Simon" Quinn looked at the girl with a grin.

Ninette raised her eyebrow. Was she supposed to be impressed that the girl had spoken back to her? What did she want, a gold star?

She was about to say something along those lines - be damned if she got caught in her former lie, like she cared? - when she said.

    Simon.

Her smirk froze in place, and slowly all emotion drained from the young girls face. She glance blankly at her, lips thin, and eyes icey.

She felt a twist of pain in her long frozen heart - it was froze for a reason. So she didn't have to feel this. And if this girl thought- thought - thought...

"You don't," she stated levely in a low cold voice that seemed to sap the room of any warmth it had previously had, "do not get to stay that name. Do you understand me? I never want to that name come through your unworthy lips again. You don't - deserve - the honour."

Quinn watched the girl's reaction to what she just said. The girl had a confident smirk on her lips but when she said Simon she knew she hit a nerve. When the girl spoke Quinn heard that her voice was cold, cold as a rock. Quinn listened and then began to speak.

"Okay fine, fair enough, but I did get you to admit that you were the girl at the graveyard" Quinn told her with a smirk. Quinn loved to reverse the table on people. It was one of the things Quinn got from her mom.

Ninette's nostles flaired as the girl smirked at her. How dare she treat Simon as if he was a thing to use to get the upperhand. As if he wasn't- wasn't

She wasn't even supposed to know about this - this was knowledge she had stolen, she had no right to use and then she just-

Ninette wanted to whip that smirk off her smug little face, and she was going to do just that.

"I admitted nothing you undestand," she growled as she pushed her chair back. If she was going to have to jump this girl - which she was feeling she might - she didn't wan to have the table in her way. "You are just a foolish little girl who's playing dangerous games. You understand me? You. are. nothing."

She stalked around the table, her face still a mask of ice.

"You're not worth my energy - so I'm giving you a chance to walk away now - but if you don't..." If Quinn didn't leave, Ninette wasn't going to be responsible for what happened text.

Quinn just watched the scene in front of her. Quinn should be scared of this girl but she wasn't. Nothing scared Quinn but she really didn't feel like getting into fights right now so Quinn was going to just let it go.

"I don't care if you admitted it or not, just wanted to see if you were the person" Quinn just replied. Quinn watched the girl get up and keep giving her the ice cold glare. "I may be playing a dangerous game right now and too you, you just want to throw a punch so go ahead but that isn't going to change anything. Who ever he was, he was special and you take it out on people because you probably feel lonely that he is gone and that's why you never give people the time of day, but one day you will regret doing that because in the end you might end up alone" Quinn stated.

"And you're not worth my energy, I'm doing wasting my energy on people who clearly don't deserve it" Quinn finished and paid for her drink. Quinn then glanced at the girl one more time and walked out the door.

Ninette just stared at the girl. It seemed for a moment as if nothing was going to go anywhere but, then - then... the girl went and openned her mouth.

Who the hell was she to tell Ninette, what she did or did not do. Clenching her hands into fists, she lunged at the girl, but as misfortune would have it, Quinn had finally decided to do the smart thing and leave.

Not one to be out done though by anything. She leaned across her table grabbing the first things that she could find - the tall glass filled with water - and using the strength that most people assumed she didn't have, she hurled it at the girls retreating form, aiming and hoping that should it smash into her skull.

That would teacher her who's acting out, over whatever bull she had attempted to feed her.
