Just Arrived

Amélie looked around her in wonder. The palace was even better than her brother had described and the common rooms were beautiful! She ran upstairs excitedly and entered the first year dorms, flopping down on the first unoccupied bed she found. She giggled, looking up at the ceiling above her. No more parents, no more fights played like a giddy refrain in her head.

Roxanna walked into the common room with a smile. She went up to the dorms and notice the firt year girls door opened. She looked in to see a first year. The girls emotions were happy.

"Well Hello firstie, I'm Roxanna Lyric. Third year of course. Welcome to beauxbatons." Roxanna said with a smile.

Mel sat up, grinning at the girl who called her firstie. "Well hello thirdie," she said with a cheeky smile. "I'm Amélie Blanchard, but you can call me Mel. Everyone does. And thanks for the welcome, it's nice to know someone cares."
Suddenly Mel's small black kitten jumped up on her bed and into her lap. "Night!" she cried. "I'd wondered where you'd gotten to." She glanced up at Roxxanna. "Roxanna this is Night. Night, this is Roxanna." Night mewled and began washing himself with a paw.
