Edith clapped her hands together when the girl manged to conjure some form of a blindfold " Wonderful Miss Minogue, I knew you'd get there" Edith said warmly

She then looked back at the line " Ok next please"

Jessica stepped forward and drew her wand, slightly shaky. She took a deep, calming breath and flicked her wand sharply.
"Obscuro!" she said confidently, and a mediocre blindfold appeared on the wooden statue. She shrugged.
"Well, I guess that works..." she muttered, lowering her wand and half-smiling at it.

Edith was impressed with the young girl's attempt, she was quite happy with her first year class they showed promising signs of becoming excellent Aurors perhaps one day

"Well done Miss Lupin, such a perfect cast" Edith said, she then looked back at the line to see who was next

Annabell smiles and steps up she runs the spell through her head and thought of what she wanted to happen. She lifts up her wand saying the words, "Obscuro" She looks surprised as a black blindfold appears over the statue. She was really surprised when she noticed the blindfold was thick as her pillow.

"That's a bit too much, huh?" she laughs lightly.

Edith gave a chuckle at the girls blindfold, "Well... thats certainly will stop them seeing anything, wonderful cast" she said warmly

Edith then saw that everybody had cast the spell, "Ok class, you all have done very well in casting the spell. Now could you get out your textbooks and turn to page 134 and copy out all the writing in bold please" Edith said

After conjuring up his blindfold on the dummy, he was instructed to sit back at his desk and await the rest of the class to do the same. A smirk grew on his face, watching the other kids doing the spell. A couple seemed to have troubles with it, which he, too, found rather amusing.

After receiving more instruction on where to go from there, Certh gave a slight nod to the Professor, and opened his textbook that was located in front of him; laying his wand beside it, unsure if he would need it for that lesson again. Once arriving at the desired page, he reached for his quill and dipped it in the bottle of ink before he began writing on the parchment.

Charlotte sat at her desk, half pleased, half disappointed. Pleased that she actually cast the spell - even though the blindfold way too thin - and that it was her first try at magic, but disappointed that everyone else seemed to be doing better than her.

She sighed as she watched the others try the spell and, when everbody was finished, opened her Defence book on the page the professor had instructed. Grabbing a quill and a parchment, she started copying the writings in bold.

Vivian was startled that she had managed to do the spell at all. Her blindfold had been a bit lopsided but it covered the dummy well enough. She sat at her desk and opened her textbook, intent on following the next set of instructions. Everyone else had managed to do the spell and were doing the same. Vivian tapped her quill briefly on her notebook before copying the text in bold.

"I wonder why we're doing this," she mused considering she had nothing else to think about. "This is probably stereotypical classroom stuff."

Annabell smiles and starts to copy the words from the book. She enjoyed casting spells even though it was her first. It was exhilerating for her. She sighs as she glances at her neat scrawl. She wasn't quite used to writing with a quil but it was much better then normal muggle writing tools.

Edith glanced up at the clock on the wall and noticed that the lesson had finished, she then looked back at her class

"Ok so today's lesson is finished, if you haven't completed writing out the information please do so for homework, class dismissed"
