My Little Ponies, Fifth Year is Magic Empty My Little Ponies, Fifth Year is Magic

Post by Lisette Josse Mon Apr 02, 2012 8:51 pm

Lisette strolled through the grassy fields, her mind wandering with the fresh early autumn breeze. She approached the high gate where the horses were kept.

The first time she had taken this class, she was thoroughly disappointed with how much work it was, but she had kept at it and now... she was actually pretty good at it.

Of course, she was no expert, but she knew enough to pass, which was pretty unusual. She set her books down on the grass and took a seat, waiting for the rest of the class to arrive.

Kassidy smiled as she walked down to the stables. She was excited about this class for some reason. Kass knew how to ride, but she was no expert. And she liked to ride, so that was why she was taking this class. And she didnt' think that Collin would take it.

This was going to be her small break that she got away from him. Her smile started to fade when she seen Lissy. She knew that this girl was still mad at her. But Kass knew that she would make it up in the end.

She then walked over and sat down beside of her. " Hey Lissy, I think we started out on the wrong foot."

Lisette glanced up in surprise and cocked her head slightly, "Why's that?" She couldn't quite remember getting mad at Kassidy about anything. Sure, she found the girl annoying, presumptuous, and obviously stuck up, but...

She shook her head, "Nevermind, you're right. We did," she smiled, "Consider any past impressions forgotten."

"Besides," she said, her smile turning into a bit of a smirk, "When you're dealing with classes like this, it's a danger to everyone if you can't get along with your peers."

Kass smiled a little bit knowing that her and Lissy was going to start off on a clean slate. “ I said things about your friend Ninny that I regret.” She knew that she had already had an idea what she thought about her but she was willing to forget about it.

“ I am glad that we came to an understanding.” She was still smiling. “ Everything is in the past?”

She just sat there and listened to what Lissy was saying. “ I guess you are right. So what is going on between you and Julian?”

Ninette's riding boots clacked across the pavement as she approached the houses from her mother's office.

She had, of course, through her mother a grown attachment through the horses. She saw them more than any other student - even durning the Summer and before she had ever gone to school she had been among these horses.

As she approached the others, she squinted her eyes to see who she'd be with for the class.

"Lissy, darling," she inclined her head, before looking over at Kass, "Blondie."

Kass then felt insulted. But she knew that she shouldn't let her get the better of her. Because she knew that she would say something that she would regret. Kass then roll her eyes.

    " Ninny."

Ninette was leaning on the the fence around the field, feeling calmer than she usually did, not even caring that normally she didn't feel like tolerating Blondie, when she said it.

    The name.

Nobody. Nobody called her that. Not since- since-

"I shall call you Ninny if I wish. You shall always be my Ninny."

    Always

    Simon

Her hand tightned on the fense, clutching it until her knucked turned white, her other one lost in the folds of her clothes. She felt the usual twist in her chest that came when anyone, anyone reminded her that...

"What," her voice was devoid of emotion. No anger, no pain, no anything. It was as cold as the look on her face, "did you just call me?"

Kass looked at her. “ Looks like I struck a nerve. I am only bad with names. And I gave you something that I could remember.”

She smiled a little bit. “ I didn't mean anything bad it.” Kass could tell that she was getting angry.

Equitation lesson this outa be fun, Athena thought for herself as she wandered to her lesson. She hadn't seen Lance anywhere since that time before summerbreak and was exited to meet him. But halfway to class she remembered how he was a fourth grader and her mood sank.

And things didnt get better. Ninette Fontaine attended her class, splendid. Just splendid. Athena felt like running but decided to be the better woman and just not care. Simply she sat down, a prt from the others to avoid drama. Although it looked like hell was breaking loose already.

Mélodie walked to the stables, glad to have this lesson again. The only bad thing about it was the fact that her sister wasn't there to enjoy it with her. Still despite the drawback Lodie still loved the lesson a lot. She saw several people she recognised, and waved, smiling. "Hey Lis, Kass, Thena, Ninette" she said smiling. Lodie knew she had to be careful with Ninette so she never shortened her name.

Ninette didn't notice the other people show up, she barely even heard Blondie's pitiful excuses for why she- she- she -

Flinging herself away from the fence, she turned until she was right up in the other girls face.

"Ninette is my name," she said coldly, face to face with the girl, her one had clenching into a fist, she was perfectly read to punch the girl out should she need to make her point clear, while her other hand tightened on her wand, spells on the tip of her tongue. "And you. Will. Remember. that. Clear? Or do I need to make it more clear?"

To illistrate her point she rose her wand so that it was obviously pointed at the girl.

Chantelle walked up to the stables, happy to see that there was a group there already. She smiled, until she realised there seemed to be conflict happening. "Woah girls what is going on here?" she asked looking down at her daughter with raised eyebrows. Chantelle was oblivious to Ninette's feisty temper, so found this behaviour very unusual.

Lisette smiled and nodded as people walked up to them. The instant she heard Kass utter, "Ninny" a very interestingly loose fleck of nail polish stood out on her finger that she simply had to investigate further.

"Netty! Please," she snapped her head up when the girl pointed her wand at Kass, "No violence. Prefect says so." She was about to take five points from the other girl for baiting Ninette when the teacher walked up.

Lisette was a little disappointed about not being able to exercise her new powers as prefect, but she also didn't want to look like she was undermining the teacher's authority, which seemed to be a bad habit of hers.

Ninette snorted and turned to her head to face Lisette. She was on the verge of scofing the statment - as a prefect herself, she could just as easily take point from the other girl.

The words were in fact on the time of her tongue when the professor came up to them.

    Not just the professor.

    Her mother.

Bitting back her her venom, she swallowed her anger - and a bit of her pride - stuck her wand back where it came from and smiled at the only person in the world she'd be willing to go as far as saying she loved.

"No mama- I mean Professor," she said, her voice suddenly much calmer, not even caring about the slip. "Not at all."

''Hello Harmonie.'' Athena said smiling. ''Or is it Melodie? God you two look so alike.'' She laughed at her hard time remembering who was who. Though knowing that wasn't too simple. They were the exact copy of each other, only thing dividing them apart was their personality.

Ninette was upset, almost on the edge to rage and Athena wondered what possibly could make her that angry. But then she remembered summer and sighted. Luckily for the girl the proffessor came. Looking like a 20 year older version of Ninette. No this couldn't- Mama? Ninettes mother were their teacher. How splendid.

Kass bite her tounge. She wanted to say so much more. But she didn't because she knew that she would get in trouble. And points could be taken away from her house. Kass didnt' want to get get blamed for anything.

Ninette hopped on her heals and smiled brightly around at the other people, her personality snapping back to 'pleasant' as quickly as it had gone to leathel.

Of course the girl had not forgotten about blondie, but for the moment she had other things to do.

"Right, so is it time to start the lesson then," she asked brightly, her smile looking as frightening as her grimace, "I for one am dying to get on a horse."

"Now that everyone is happy and settled," she started giving a quick warning look at her daughter. "We can get started," she smiled, deciding not to take any points away from either of the girls, as she didn't see what had went on.

"Okay before you go and get your horses we will have a quick briefing!" she informed them, "So what safety equipment do you need to wear?"

Ninette just smiled - a smile that was overly innocent - in return for her mothers look. She knew she wasn't getting in trouble.

She rolled her eyes, "Head protection - to guard our precious little brains."
