Swish and Flick ~ 4th Year

Humming to himself, Afonka strode into the classroom. Pouting slightly at the empty room, he quickly took a seat, pulling his wand out to twirl it around, emitting little golden sparks.

He couldn't help but feel so happy. He had the most amazing friends, and he had Tessa.... grinning happily, he sighed happily, pumping his feet as he waited for other people to join him.

Haze walked into the classroom, and she saw one other boy there, and she smirked at him. "Hey!" she chuckled. "What's up?"

Looking up to see the girl, he waved at her, "Nothing much." he shrugged, glancing around, "Waiting for people to show up. I'm Afonka," he introduced himself, smiling.

Anna walked into the classroom, and she was slightly shocked to see only two others there. She smiled at them before sliding into a seat next to the blonde girl from Dark Arts.

Feliks smirked as he shuffled into the room. Look at all the people - that cheery little house mate of his...

and oo, look at his luck, another transfer.

"Now, now," he drawlled leaning agianst the wall. He wasn't even sure if he was going to be sticking around. "Aren't we all just the perfect little students."

Smiling at the brunette that walked in, Afonka hummed quietly to himself, rocking from side to side. As Feliks walked in, he froze, his eyes darting from side to side. Swallowing hard, he waved at him, smiling weakly, "Um - h- hi Feliks."

Laetitia walked quietly into the classroom, and nodded when she saw five students sitting there. She looked around, waiting until they were all quiet and clasped her hands together. "Hello!" she greeted, "nice to see you all here this year! Now..." She flicked her wand and the word 'Impedimenta' appeared on the board. "Can someone tell me what this spell does?" She looked at the two Exchange Students. "I speak English," she noted.

Tshering tried her best not to chuckle - or howl in laughter, even - when she saw how intimidating Felisk was to the other boy. What was his name, anyway? Afonka, was it? She twirled a lock of hair around her finger, trying to hide a little blush. Whatever Feliks's personality transplant happened to be, she liked it.

Choosing to speak in her Russian, which had been improving quickly these days, Tshering began to answer the teacher's question. "Impedimenta is a spell that can stop people to step forward," she explained, "however, if cast with power, it can knock the target off their feet."

Feliks smirked at his housemate, enjoying the fear in his eye too much not to play with it a bit more. He flopped into the chair beside him, "Hey there Alkie - its been a while, hasn't it?"

He glanced over and noticed that transfer girls expression - she appeared to appriciate a good terror show. He gave her a wink and a smirk before pretending to pay attention to the professor.

"Oh yeah, " Feliks added under his breath to his new seat mate, "I used that one on you last year, didn't I Alkie?"

Looking up at teacher, he had been about to respond when Feliks took the seat beside him. Starting slightly, he turned to face the older boy, shaking slightly, "I - it has." I liked it better then.

Clasping his hands together on top of his desk, he ignored his housemate's existence. At least, until he spoke again. Flicking his gaze towards him, he grimaced slightly before turning away, rubbing his arms.

Lae nodded at the young Ravenclaw who answered. "Well done!" she gleefully announced. She then politely turned towards the two Hrabrost boys. "Now, now, let's all stay civil here," she warned, before clearing her throat. "So let's get right to it!" she announced, clasping her hands. Counting all the students up, she then smiled, "Okay. Partnerwork. So... let's see..." She scanned her students. "We will partner everyone today," she announced, "we'll start with... Mister Alkaev and Mister Chmerkovkiy, and Miss Bass and Miss Tshering. You have five minutes." She then sat on her table, tipping over a timer.

Feliks flashed the woman a grin, "I am always civil Professor."

His grin widened as she told them what they were going to do.

"Hey, hey look Alkie, we get to be partners. Aren't you as excited as I am?"

Letting out the littlest squeak of protest as he was partnered up with - with him, Afonka shuddered softly, but only nodded and bit his lip. If there were more people in the class, he'd ask to switch partners. but he couldn't do that with only two other people there. And besides, he didn't want anyone else to have to suffer being partnered up with the - him.

Looking at him, the boy plastered a smile on his face, "I - of course."

Tshering wanted to protest when she got the other girl in class. She was so cheery and happy and downright annoying it really irked her to the point it was almost unbelievable. Rolling her eyes, she turned towards the other girl and stood up next to her chair. "Well," she announced, "you ready, Hazelle?"

Feliks smirked at his new prey. He did love class time. So much allowed taunting.

"Righto Alkie, ready to go??? Or do you think you want to use this, lovely little spell on me first. I am a gentleman at all. Aren't I Alkie?"

"Of course you are." Afonka muttered through gritted teeth before swallowing hard and hoping that the boy hadn't heard that. Twirling his wand around nervously, he snuck the boy a look before nodding, "I'll go first."

He wanted to prolong the eventual torture he got from Feliks often.

Haze immediately stood up and nodded. She took a few steps back, watching Lena intently. Her eyes narrowed at Tshering, and muttered, "Ready!"

Feliks smirked and inclinde his head.

"Will you now," he drawlled slowly, holding out his hands in a sign of mock innocence, "Then cast away Alkie; lets just see what my favourite little buddy's got this year?"

Ignoring the comment from housemate, Afonka closed his eyes momentarily, trying to calm down his frayed nerves. Feliks couldn't do anything, he consoled himself, after all, they were in a classroom, the teacher wouldn't sit back and do nothing if he was attacked. Reopening his eyes, he fixed the boy with a careful look before nodding.

Twirling his wand one last time, he pointed it at Feliks, "Impedimenta."

Lae clapped her hands. "Well, I believe the lesson is over!" she announced, a huge smile on her face, "now... homework. Three foot essay on household charms to be done in twos. I don't care how you do it, as long as you do it together." She then waved everyone out of her door. "Out! Out!"
