Astronomy was one of the many things Lena wanted to try, but never had the chance to do because she was in Durmstrang. Now that she was here, however, she can finally try it out.. She knew the basics already, like what they're made of and how they work, but she knows there must be more to the subject than that.

Setting up her telescope, Lena patiently waited for the lesson to began and other students to file in. The stars were shining as brightly as ever, and even if she didn't have Astronomy that night she'd definitely stay outisde and watch the stars.

Caleb ran into the classroom and slid across the floor. Caleb was good at that. Caleb stopped next to a girl. "Sorry, I have a tendency of being bored and doing stupid things even if people are watching" Caleb explained to the girl. Caleb jumped on the top of her table. "I also have a tendency of annoying people, my name is Caleb List, 4th Slytherin" Caleb held out his hand for the girl to take it.

Colin wandered into his classroom, and looked around, smiling to see a new face. He did enjoy new students. He figured this one must be a exchange student.

"Hello Mr. List, I hope you had an enjoyable summer," he nodded his head at the boy. "And hello there, I'm Professor O'Brian."

Caleb turned to the door when her heard someone come in. He saw it was the professor. "Yo professor O'Brian, yeah my summer was good, couldn't wait to come back here though. So how was your summer. Oh just a warning I sometimes have a tendency to annoy people so if I annoy you I apologize" Caleb warned him. Caleb then realized he was still sitting on the desk but was hoping the professor didn't notice.

Pandora Walked into the classroom with her head held high. She loved this subjeect, She wasn't callled Pandora for a reason.

She looked around and saw 2 students and the Professor.

"Hello Professor, I'm Pandora Reikhman." Pandora said with a bow. SHe waved at Lena and sat down near her. She nodded her head at the boy.

"Hello!" She said to both of them.

Riley walked up to Astronomy, determined not to be late. Once again, she recognized Lena. There was also Caleb (she couldn't help turning a little flushed) and the other girl from Defence. This time there was no excuse not to greet people. "Hey Lena, Caleb," Riley half-smiled, because half-smiling felt less fake. Although, as she thought about it, she should be real smiling. So she did. "Hi, Professor O'Brian. And...I'm sorry, I don't know your name." She apologized to the girl. "I'm Riley, by the way. Fourth year-if you didn't gather that," she smirked teasingly. "Ravenclaw."

Iva opened the door, already tired of this day. This is why she hated school: running up the stairs, the annoying people, and the unless knowledge. God, why did she have to be here? She only took astronomy because someone told her it was easy.

Placing her books on the table and avoiding everyone, she eye caught Pandora and she sneered. "I didn't know you'd be here. Is it possible to switch out?"

"It's Pandora, Riley." Pandora said as she looked to see that Iva entered the room and started to speak with her.

"Well Popov you know where the door is!" Pandora said with a true smile.

Lena nodded curtly at the Slytherin boy. "I'm Lena," she replied, a slight German accent gracing her lips, "how pleasant it is to meet you." She then saw the Astronomy Teacher talking to her, and she smiled lightly at him. "I had a wonderful summer, Professor," she replied, "I'm Lena Vorstenbach. How nice is it of me to meet you."

Lena waved at Pandora before skipping across the room to greet Riley. "I didn't know you took Astronomy!" she sang, skipping over to her friend. "Ain't it a wonderful subject?"

The Uchitel watched another Slytherin girl argue with Pandora, and fought hard with herself to keep her mouth shut. After all, this can all make for good gossip later.

Colin laughed slightly, and shook his head at the boy, "That is quite all right Mr. List. So long as you do you're work, I am sure we shall both be happy campers."

"Well welcome Ms. Vorstenbach, and Ms. Reikman," he smiled and wandered to the front of the room. "In fact welcome everyone."

He gave a stern look to the two girls arguing, "Ladies, can I please ask you to continue this discussion else where please."

Riley grinned. "Pandora. Nice to meet you! Yeah, I take Astronomy! It's a really cool class, Lena. I swear!" Riley half-laughed.

Riley stood next to Lena, and watched the two girls argue. She didn't quite know what to make of it; she'd known Iva only briefly, and Pandora for but a couple of minutes. Both had seemed perfectly nice.

"Of course Professor. I was just saying if she didn't like that I was in your class, she knows where the door is." Pandora said with a smile.

Iva shrugged at the teacher, stepping away to her chair with the swish of her hips. A smirk had fallen upon her lips; she knew exactly what to say.

"I'm so sorry, Professor," she smiled, "I was just asking Pandora about her accident. I mean, she had to be in an accident; I've never seen such an ugly veela before!"

She sat into her seat, continuing, "And she needs some manners. Durmstrang kids don't know their place,"

Pandora just laughed and smirked.

"Says the girl who thinks shes the top Russian Bitch. I think you are more like the runt of the litter. Her mother must of dropped you when you were little. Your head is very huge. Your just A Little dumb blondie who doesn't know where her place is in life." Pandora said with a smirk.

"Ladies!" Colin's voice rose only for a moment before his face settled into a firm frown as he looked between the girls. "Please. Take a seat, and I do not wish to hear a word from either of you unless it is related to today's lesson, understood."

"Ms. Reikhman, I am perfectly capable of informing my students whether they can leave or stay, I do not need your help with that. Understood? Ms. Popov, do not make me start the class by taking points from Slytherin."

He raised his eyebrows and looked between the girls. Content for the moment he turned his back to write on the board when he heard them continue.

He chalk slide across the board, as he heard them speak up again.

"Ms. Reikhman Language! I do not care what they allow you to do at Durmstrang, though I doubt they would allow you to do that, but here I expect an area of respect. That goes to everyone - including you Ms. Popov - the exchange students place is the same as everyone else's. Right now - Ms. Reikhman's place will be the same as yours in both of you returning to my class after dinner tomorrow - for detention."

Letting that declaration hover over the two girls and the rest of the class, he nodded and returned to his lesson.

"Galilean moons. What are they? Anybody?"

"I apoligise Professor for my crude Language." Pandora said to the Professor. She listened to what was said and think she knew the answer. She remembered reading it in a muggle book.
She waited to see if anyone answered first.

She waited, but wanted to see if her answer was right.

"The Galilean moons are the four moons of Jupiter if I am correct. The were discovered by Galileo Galilei in January 1610. They moons were named after Zeus's lovers: Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto. Also they have participate in a 1:2:4 orbital resonance." Pandora said as her answer. She think she got everthing.

Iva nodded politely to the teacher, promising to stay quiet. She settled into her seat, waiting for the correct moment to pounce. Big head? Please, this girl had no room to talk. No one messed with Iva.

"The combined mass of the Galilean moons is still less than Pandora's ego," she quipped. It was completely related to the conversation, and completely necessary.

Colin nodded his head.

"Thank you - yes, they are Jupitur's moons - however they are not Jupiter's only moons," Colin said, "Jupiter has over sixty moons at the last count - however the Galilean moons because of their mass, and size are of most interest to people."

Colin was about to start another question, when Iva spoke up and his eyes narrowed.

"Ms. Popov, Please - Five points from Slytherin."

Lena chose to ignore the Slytherin and turned around to the Professor, who seemed rather nice. She bit her lip and spoke clearly and calmly in her lightly accented English, as if she had just read that textbook yesterday, "The Galilean moons are named because they were discovered by renowned astronomer Galileo Galilei in 1610. Io is the heaviest of the Galilean moons, with a mass of eight point nine three time ten to the twenty-second power. According to mass, the next heaviest is Europa, then Ganymede, then Callisto."

Colin nodded his head, "Thank you Ms. Vorstenbach; I'd give you points, but I do not think they go anywhere with you exchangers."

He laughed softly to himself.

"Yes, some of the Galilean moons are larger than the smaller planets in our solar system," Colin smiled slightly. "They were in fact, important in proving - at least to an extent - that the earth revolved around the sun, not the other way around. At the very least, their discovery proved that something in the universe did not revolve around the sun."

"Alright, and on that note, I would like you all to begin working on a paper - I want each of you to tell me why The Galilean moons are important. You have the rest of class to work on it."

Pandora nodded at what she was going to do. She got her quill out and started to write. This was going to be a long essay. So she started.

Lena smirked, and she immediately got out a long piece of parchment in front of her. She dipped her quill in the blank ink and began to write. She sighed, her forehead beginning to brim with sweat.
