Yvette had always liked the Mind Arts classroom. It had a homey feeling and the interior reminded her of home. It was quite easy to clear her mind and put up an Occlumency shield of thick, oak logs with stinging nettles growing all over it.

She walked across the classroom, her leather cowboy boots thumping on the wood floor, much like they did on the ranch. Taking a deep, cleansing breath Yvette allowed all the stress of the day to flow out of her and she crossed her legs to sink down gracefully on one of the mats on the floor. Sighing the teen relaxed her body and allowed her mind to rebuild its defenses while the silence reigned in the room.

Mora walked in from the small office she'd recently installed in the side of the room, and smiled at the girl there. She was dressed in jeans and a slightly over-sized button up shirt she may or may not have commandeered from Merle's closet, and she was completely barefoot. She spread her hands wide and gestured to the rest of the room, her eyes sparkling as they lighted on the fire. Rather than pull out a wand and light the fireplace in the side of the wall, she stood and walked over to the hearth, starting a fire on her own.

The crackling of the fire soon filled the room, and Mora returned to her chair, her eyes returning to the girl for the first time since she'd entered. She pulled the bean bag chair a bit forward and sat in it, sinking into it with a smile. "Good Afternoon." She greeted. "I'm Amora. Welcome to Mind Arts."

Listening to the bare feet moving across the floor, Yvette deduced that the person was probably an adult. She had her eyes closed and her hearing was honed into the slightest movements in the room. She heard the crackle of the fire as it caught and burned and the scrap of the beanbag chair across the floor.

"I know who you are, Professor Kirke," she responded lightly straightening her back while relaxing her shoulders a bit more, her eyes never opening. "There isn't much that gets talked about that I don't know about. At least all the gossip and what gets talked about in the common room. I'm sure there are things I don't know, but I like to think I know what people are doing around me."
