Studying Hard

Collin decided he was going to sit in the common room to work on his studies, he was hoping maybe he would get another chance to talk to Kassidy, he really liked her and didn't care if his brother liked her too. He just thought the more he could be around her then maybe he would have more of a chance.

He pulled out his books and sat down on the nearest couch, he hated sitting at a desk they were always so uncomfortable. He had already practiced his mind arts, now he was looking into his creative arts. Maybe she could help him decide which OWL's he wanted to take.

Looking over the sheet of requirements he patiently kept looking towards the door hoping every time it opened.

Kassidy walked into the common room. She was so tired from her long day. Kass didn't even want to think about how Collin and Casey was fighting over her. She loved them both in their own ways. She had hoped that Collin was there so she could talk to him. She was so tired that she also didn't care about it.

She then looked over and seen that Collin was sitting on a couch. Kass thought that she could talk to him or go to bed.

Collin looked up and got lucky as he watched Kass come into the common room. He placed the book he was reading on the table and turned his attention to Kassidy.

"Hay Kass, come join me" he said as he patted the spot next to him on the couch.

"So how are your classes going?" He knew he had a couple of classes with her, but not all of them.

Collin kept glancing towards the door double checking to see if his brother comes in.

Kass smiled a little bit as she seen Collin. She then walked over to him and sat beside of him on the couch. She noticed that he had put a book on the table. But she didn't think much of it.

“ So I guess I can stay with you for a little bit. Classes are making me tired.” But she was smiling cause she could spend some time with Collin.

“ Classes are going good. I am already ready for them to be over. I love school but always is a lot of work.”

She then noticed that he was watching the door and was blinking. But she then laid her head on his shoulders.

Collin noticed that Kassidy leaned her head on his shoulder so he just laid back and placed his arm around her and pulled her close allowing his hand to run thru her hair.

"I can understand that, I know I want to get good grades, but sitting in a classroom gets to be such a bore sometimes." Collin was thinking about the classes he was taking but besides two that he was in he was not sure what classes she was taking.

"So what classes are you taking, besides that lovely sewing project that we have." Collin could not help but smirk at the idea of him sewing.

Kass smiled as Collin pulled her closer to him. It was something that she could get used to, cause he was running his hand through her hair. She could tell that it was making her feel calm.

“ I know what you mean. I hate sitting around the classroom being bored.” She was grinning. “ But I love spending the time with you.”

She was still smiling. “ Oh creative arts and I can't remember the name of the class. But it is with the horse. And what is bad that ninny is in my class.”
