Do they know it's christmas? || Capulet Manior || Invited Only

Athena rushed around in the mannor like a chicken without a head. And that was exactly how she felt. For several days now she had been running around, fixing everything to perfection. The house elfs had done a splendid work, but was that enough? No. She had no idea how she would have fixed it all without her mother. The guests would arrive anywhere. And all in this crazy mess, where were her siblings?

People would arrive anytime now and Thena ran up to her room to make herself decent. Christmas was important. Especially now that so many people were comming here. Dressed in a beautiful white dress she walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to make the last arrangements ready.



[Since no one plays our parents, just pretend that they are there and like they talk to you and stuff. And the mother takes care of letting the guests in. Just so ya all know]

Lena had begun dressing herself a few minutes before the party, and it took her no time at all to pick a dress and a pair of decent shoes and to head on out to Athena's party. She looked decent, or so she hoped. She had only put on a bit of make-up and... well, her hair was left as it should be. She sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair as she waited just to the front door, tapping her foot not due to slight impatient, but to dampen the nervousness she seemed to be suffering from.

"Thena!" she announced in French - which she had been painfully practicing - knocking on the door, "this is Lena. Please let me in."

''Mama.'' Athena shouted from the kitchen. ''Il est un invité par la porte. l'escorter jusqu'à la cuisine, vous s'il vous plaît?'' Mother Capulet opened the door with a warm smile on her face and embraced the young woman with a hug. ''Et is so very nize to finally meet you, Lena Vorstenbach. Athena as told me so muc about you.'' She took a few steps back and gestured with her hand for Lena to enter.

''Athena is in zee kitcen, so if you follow me s'il vous plaît.'' The blond haired women showed the way to the kitchen.

''Lena!'' Athena squealed and hugged her missed friend. ''Sorry about zee mess.'' She was stained with flour. ''I ad to do zis all by myself you see. Artemis was no w'ere to be found. And w'en I cook, zings just fall on the floor. Wit'out me touc'ing zem. '' Theen said with a laugh.

''Please make yourself comfterable w'ile we await zee ot'ers.''

Lance lead Antonette towards the front door. He kept his arm around her shoulder and gave a little squeeze for comfort. "You be fine. Thena's family is nice and Thena is great. You'll like her." He looked up at the house and remembered all the fun times he and Athena had. Running around and playing.

Ann gulped and shook her head "You sure she won't mind me being here?" she said, looking at him then back up to the manor. "I mean I don't really know her." She added, as she smoothed her dress down.

Artemis walked in after a night of drinking. He knew that his mother would say something to him. But he was trying to drink to forget about Phillie. He started to think about everything that he wanted to do with her on Christmas. And that is why he drank his vodka last night. He knew that when she died, he started to drink heavily.

He knew that when he walked in he had a hangover. And just wanted to sleep, but he knew that Athena wouldn’t let him cause it was Christmas.

Lance smirked and nodded. "Would you rather me carry you again? Because if you don't start moving Cheri I am going to carry you." He smirked and nudged Antonette to go ahead.

Lance smiled and nudged Antonette again. He walked up to the door and knocked. It wasn't just a knock, it was a knock that he and Athena used to let each other know who they were there.

Athena wiped away steam from a cooking pot. ''Excuse moi.'' She said and rushed to the door to open it for the guest. She had that natural beauty and even though her hair was a mess she still looked amazing, but before opening she fixed her hair by pulling over left shoulder and with a smile to the hall mirror she opened the door.

''Lance!'' She said smiling and as she saw the girl her face breaked out in a grinn. ''And who may zis be?'' Thena held out her hand towards the girl ''I'm Athena, but I zink you knew that already. And you must be Lance's girlfriend?''

She gave Lance the you-have-to-tell-me-about-this-later look and turned to the girl. ''I hope I made enough food. Come on in.'' Then she slightly freaked. ''Oh no. I need to make more food.'' She looked the way towards her brothers room.

''ARTEMIS!'' She shouted.

Ann smiled at the girl This must be Athena she thought then grasp her offered hand and shook it, when she introduced herself she grinned I was right! she thought. Her eyes widened and blushed as she glanced at Lance, "I don't know about that... I'm Antonette" she nervously introduced herself.

She smiled then nudged Lance "You first."

Lora got excited as soon as she had got the invite from Thena. She loved parties and loved it even more when it was hosted by any of her friends. She didn't know whether it'd be a formal or casual, and decided to go with something simple but elegant. Cliché, yes but effective.

Grinning to herself lightly, she rang the doorbell and knocked once. "Thena? You in there?"

Artemis looked at Athena and didn’t say anything. He knew that she would tell that he was drunk. And then would come the yelling. Later one he would drink more and more vodka.

“ Hello Athena Merry Christmas.”

Lance smiled and pulled Thena in his arms and hugged her tightly. He missed her. "Theny this is Antonette. I meet her walking here and decided that she needed to be around people on Christmas." He smiled and let Athena go. He stepped back and looked around at what she was doing. "Little Thena you need to calm down. Take a deep breath."

Lance moved towards the door when someone knocked on it. "Thena go cook or yell at Artie. I'll get the door." He open the door and looked at the girl outside.

''Pleased to meet you Antonette.'' Athena said and smiled lightly. ''Yes, that was a very good idea Lancey. The more the merrier.'' She took a breath and calmed down. ''Yeah I know. I know. It would be great if you-''

She didn't finnish the sentance, she knew that Lance would know what to do anyways. ''Antonette this is my brother Artemis. You have probably seen him at school because he's a teacher. And Lance you know Art. Good.'' With a stern face she looked at her drunk brother.

''And you, Kitchen. Now.'' With a excusing smile she dragged herself and her brother to the kitchen. ''Drunk on christmas?'' She looked at him. ''I know it is hard for you know. But please try to behave.''

Artemis walked into the kitchen with Athena. This was something that he didn't want to talk about. She never said anything like this to Theo. But Artie was different from his twin brother. He always looked out for Athena. Theo always loved Rhea more just like Artie favored Athena.

“ I'm sorry Athena it just been so hard.”

Ann nodded and smiled at the Professor then watched as Athena excused herself. She looked around nervously, now realizing she was damn alone. Maybe this really wasn't a good idea she thought then sighed, awkwardly shifting on her feet at the spot.

When the door opened, there was Mrs. Capulet - or so Lena presumed - and she hugged her. The Uchitel hugged her back, and she nodded politely, a kind smile across her face. "Well, thank you," she replied.

Lena felt herself being hugged by her friend and hugged her back, less reluctantly than she usually would. "I'm good!" she agreed, scanning the room, "have you seen Timo yet?" She sat herself down on the couch, waiting for the others to arrive.

All too quickly, however, people started coming. None of them were Timo, though, and that made her worried; was he alright? She had heard yet another familiar voice outside the door, but no one had greeted it yet. She blinked, and scurried over to the door. "Lora?" she asked, "is that you?"

Lora's eyes widened in surprise as she saw the Uchitel. "Le? Hey, nice surprise!" She exclaimed and hugged her friend. "Wow, fancy place," she commnted with a smile as she walked inside and closed the door. "So how are your holidays going so far?" She asked.

"Can't remember the last time I attended this sort of formal party," she admitted and laughed lightly. "So, where's Thena? I'm afraid I don't know anybody else here."

Lance rolled his eyes when the girl stepped in front of him and answered the door. He scoffed and walked over to Antonette and wrapped his arm around her shoulder "Hey don't back out now. You're here." He watched Artie go into the kitchen after following Athena.

Lance looked over to the girls still talking and rolled his eyes again. Steering Antonette towards the kitchen he looked down at her "You wanted to help cook right?"

Ann smiled a bit when Lance wrapped his arm around her. "Fine. I won't" she said sounding defeated. Her eyebrows furrowed when she noticed how irritated he was "You okay?" she asked, poking his ribs.

Ann blinked and nodded as she walked "Yeah I did. She won't mind right?" she asked, referring to Athena.

Lance nodded and hugged Antonette tighter. He smirked "I'm just fine. Now that you are here," He smirked and walked in the kitchen with her. Calling out to Theny and Artie he smirked "Yo Little Theny I got you another helper."

She hugged her brother quickly ''I know Art, but please please it was months ago okay? Ophelia wouldn't have wanted you to be like this.'' She looked at him with the typical ''I know you're not okay but try to pull yourself together'' look and hugged him again.

''Now we have a christmas to celebrate. And you know how this is my favorite day of the year right?'' Athena smiled sad at her brother and went back to fix with the potatoes.

''Oh that's perfect, all thought you are the guests here. But I suppose I could use another pair of hands.'' She smiled friendly at Antonette, if Thena knew something it was how it felt to be alone in a crowd of people. ''Maybe you could fix the sallad?''

Ann smiled sincerely at Athena "Sometimes guests have to help the owner of the house in times of dire need" she says as she remembered other cultures who have guests help the owner on certain festivities like Christmas.

Ann nodded then looked at Lance "and what are you going to do?" she asked before starting to fix the salad.

Rhea stumbled through the doors of her home, giggling as she pulled her older brother, and two of their friends, in with her. She wasn't drunk or anything - only almost, they needed a little bit of more alcohol for that.

"I'm sure Artemis has some more alcohol hidden away somewhere, I always manage to find-" she stopped in mid sentence, eyes going wide. There were people in her house.
Why are there people in my house? What the hell is going on? Wait, why is the house decorated? ... What day is it?

Then it came to her. "... Theo, I think it's Christmas." she giggled.

Theo was dragged in behind his sister on her search for alcohol, laughing on the way. "Rhee, you're going to pull my arm out," he yelled to her, grabbing the front of Valentin's shirt and pulling him with them as they entered the house.

He looked around, noticing people within the house and frowned for a second. "How long were we out?" he murmured to Rhea, glancing around and laughing again. "Oooooh dear."

Theo's stomach growled and he groaned. "I'm starving. Is there anything to eat?" he groaned, before tripping and noticing a feather boa he seemed to have acquired on the evening out falling from his neck. Wow. It had been such a good night they'd forgotten about Christmas. That had to be a first.

Valentin wasn't even sure why he agreed to go home with the Capulet siblings, but he'd been too intoxicated to care, really. He didn't drink often, which was why only a little amount of alcohol had him plastered. Theo's hand grabbed his shirt and Val yelped as he was dragged forward, but he didn't fight it.

His eyes went wide when he saw all the people.

"What are they doing here? Wasn't this your house? Are you sure this is your house? There are people here," he babbled, fingers gripping the feathery boa that was slung around Theo's neck. He was quite worried he'd fall.
