Personality: Charlotte's usually very friendly, but shy. Charlotte doesn't enjoy fighting and will mostly keep to herself. But she know show to defend herself and if civilized talking won't do, she'll use other methods. While she hesitates before standing up for herself, she doesn't when it's a friend. She's very loyal and caring to those she trusts, and would do anything to protect them.

The Minogue's are a normal muggle family. Lucy is a History teacher at the local school and Sebastian works in the Navy. She has a twin brother, James, who is very close to her. Neither poor or rich, Charlotte had a good childhood and did everything a normal kid did.

Growing up, Charlotte was never the popular girl, never the one with many friends. She was always more mature than her classmates and often thought of as a bit different. She had a few close friends and couple of older ones, and was usually very sweet to everyone. She started showing signs of magic at the age of 5. One time, she was in pre-school and a boy stole her teddy bear. Angry and annoyed, Charlotte made the bear fly out of his hand and hit him in the face. When she got her letter, everyone in the family was shocked. Though her signs of being magical would show sometimes, no one around her even considered the possibility that it was magic, and always came up with another explanation to why some things happened when she was angry or sad.

After getting her letter, Charlotte's relationship with her twin brother James became distant. He was a bit sad and jealous of not being magical, and would always fight with her for no apparent reason. Her brother was her best friend, and Charlotte was very saddened by the fact that he seemed to hate her.

One day, during a very big fight of theirs, she went out with some of her friends. They were older, about 14 years old, and decided to have some fun and drink. The girl hesitated a bit, not knowing if it would be a good idea, but she was so mad at her brother, so mad at everything, that she pushed that feeling aside and got drunk. She doesn't remember much of what happened, all she remembers is being thrown in a pool and nearly drowning. According to her brother, when he got there, she was passed out at the pool, drowning. That is the reason she dislikes water and alcohol so much. He saved her in time though, but ratted her out to their parents and she was punished, which only made their relationship even more distant.

The day Charlotte left, however, they made up at the Station. Ever since then, James is always eager to hear about magic and Charlotte's wizarding life, as are her parents.
