Personality:
Kieran can be rather cocky at times. He has an uncomfortable air of confidence around him, making him seem rather arrogant and annoying. He keeps a lot to himself, and he refuses to talk about his emotions even with someone he trusts. He acts like a childish twelve-year-old with too much candy.

After Dommi's death, however, he has matured. He has learned to tolerate others and to consider their feelings. He has started writing a lot as a way of expressing his feelings - something a lot of people wouldn't know. He is also more hard-headed than before. Not like it would make a difference, of course.

In the odd hours of the morning, Kieran Cartwright was born in Bulgaria to Andrew and Libby Cartwright. Hovering in the corner was his elder sister Dommi, who had been born around a year before. It was his father who had named him Kieran, after his grandfather.

Until Kieran was three, he and his family lived in a cramped family apartment in Sofia, the capital. It was his father who chose to open a cafe in the prospering city of Munich, and it was because of that he moved countries. He missed Bulgaria very much and although he loved Germany he hated the moving process. Once that was done, his life with his adoring sister was comfortable. They played together ay and night and they were practically inseparable.

Kieran got his first sign of magic when he was four and a half. He was playing ballet with his sister when he realized his feet weren't touching the ground. His sister - who had only received her first sign of magic only a month before - immediately figured out that he, like her, was magical and they had a big party to celebrate.

Norton's cafe was a success, and even though Kieran had bad memories associated with moving he was alright with it this time. The Cartwrights had moved from a small apartment in the city to a semi-detached house on the outskirts. Kieran fell in love with it. He immediately took up his room with such enthusiasm by the third week he had forgotten what his old room looked like.

When Kieran was ten, Dommi started attending Durmstrang and was made a Slushatel. He missed her, but before he knew it he was being carted off to Durmstrang too, and like his sister, he was a Slushatel. Under the wings of his popular, confident sister, Kieran couldn't help but become a little cocky.

Something about his sister had changed, though. Her smiles didn't twinkle as much, and when no one was around she would brood and curl herself up into a ball. One night, he saw his sister passed out on the floor, and for the first time he saw how frail his sister was an how thin she had gotten. She was sent to St. Mungo's after Christmas.

During the Easter holidays, Kieran visited his sister in hospital. When he heard the doctors say she was going to die no matte what, he burst into tears. He took his sister on walks everyday and they became closer than ever.

However, she did not grow any better. Dominique Elise Cartwright was pronounced dead on the fifth of May.

Dommi's death has traumatized Kieran in many ways, but he is learning to grow past them. He is still healing, but he bellieves he can be whole again one day.
