Overall history:

Roman Ritter was born in Germany to a very wealthy, very pureblood family. He was raised to be the most pristine little pure-blood child in the country. When he was about five, Roman expressed a fondness for medieval knights and warfare. He was almost immediately signed up for intensive combat training and battle strategy classes with a private tutor.

Both his parents were born rich, and married each other in their early twenties, creating a powerful alliance between the two families. Both Tatiana and Everard own and are investors and owners of dozens of businesses, from which they've profited immensely, only adding to their already massive fortune.

The autumn after he turned eleven, he began attending Durmstrang with six years of combat training at his back. First year was relatively uneventful, other than a couple of tussles with some older kids. Because he was so frequently picked on, he didn't make too many friends. It was in his second year that he began to really make friends.
