Personality:
Charles is never the person anyone thinks he is. Sometimes, he is a flirt. Sometimes, he is a gentleman. He grew up surrounded by lies and deceit, and this is why he feels a little uncomfortable telling the truth. He always asks questions even if it isn't the right time because he's always so curious.

However, he is loyal to the people he loves in a very deep level. He will protect them from anything even if it gets him hurt. He will tell them the truth, and only the truth. This is because he doesn't want the people he loves to suffer like he did.

Overall history:
Charles grew up in a family of con artists. His father was a grifter, so he infiltrated companies until he got high enough to swindle their money before leaving it alone. He had to cope with changing his name all of his life and moving constantly.

Out of all his father's cons, he stayed in the small German town of Bad Münstereifel the longest: five months at the age of six. There, he met Lena Vorstenbach during the first week on the first day of school. They immediately became best friends, even if they were in different age groups.

One day, Charles told Lena about what his father does and instead of running away, Lena stayed with him and comforted him. Leon found out that Charles told Lena, and tried to erase her memory, though for some reason, it did not work.

He never forgot about Lena even until he arrived in Durmstrang. When he found her, they started arguing all the time. He tried to intervene in her life, and she his. This was put to a stop during the summer before his third year, when his father was killed. Even though he felt guilty, he didn't feel much sadness because he had never loved his father.

Also, he was too busy to grief. He was in a camp for the musically talented and for the performing arts, and he was excelling in music, but failing in everything else. That was when he met Anna Tshering, who was brilliant at singing. They had to perform a duet together, and since then, they have never been separated when they are not in class.
