Personality: Chuck is very much self-centred and thinks he is absolutely flawless. He considers showing feelings to be a sign of weakness and has built walls around his heart to stop him from doing so. He likes to think no one can penetrate those walls but little does he know that someone already did.

The minute he begins to show compassion for someone, he responds by pushing them away as far away from him as possible. His intense fear and hatred for his family prevents him from having a thought for himself, and he copes with it by sleeping around and getting drunk. Though he does not care what his blood relatives think, he is inclined to obey them and vows to take a stand, just like he did with his father.

Overall history: Being born into a family of Muggles seemed to be like a curse for Chuck. His parents resented the fact that he was the only one gifted with magical abilities and have hated him ever since. He wore the pain in his heart till the age of 14, but that all vanished due to the sudden death of his parents. He was sent to live with his relatives, though he spent most of his time at Durmstrang.

His family was well known in the Muggle society and one of the most wealthiest. After becoming an orphan, he lost his way and started being the rebellious teenage boy. Sleeping around, drinking and smoking all became frequent whenever he visited his relatives. There was a mutual hatred but the only reason they put up with him was because he was the only heir to all the riches.

After Chuck graduated from Durmstrang, he received the news that his older brother Carter, had been disowned. Carter was the only one who loved Chuck and stood up for him, and even fought with her aunt and uncle, resulting in them cutting him loose from their family. It had been almost two years since Charles and Carter had seen each other, and because of it, Chuck is all the more unstable at the moment.
