Three's a crowd

A small shiver went up Roman's spine when Feliks waved at him, but the fear was once again pushed away by his intense confusion at the situation. Realizing that he would probably be safer somewhere else, he started to walk away.

That is, until he heard something that automatically made him stop. I belong to Karma? He listened to their conversation for a few moments more, hoping she'd explain that a little more. If nothing else, he was pretty disturbed by her calling him her "pet" several times.

Roman shook his head and rolled his eyes, beginning to get annoyed, and walked back down the path. He wasn't entirely sure where he was going to go now. He was starting to get really tired of the mountains, but there was no way he was going back home.
