Kassidy walked into the classroom. She was excited that it was the start of the second lesson. Later she would have to find Collin and talk to him. But for now she would focus on her classes. But when she started to think about Collin and Casey she would get confused. Kass would have to focus on what she was doing.

She then walked into the class and found a sit.

"Got a taste for music do you blondie?" Ninette asked flopping into a seat. She looking around the room, eyeing the instruments. She wasn't entirely sure why she came in. She didn't do music, at least not so much in that he let people know she did.

Sighing she shook out her hair. Well she was here now. Might as well see how long she could behave herself.

After all Prof Skydancer wasn't going to be one who put up with her .... attitude.

Dani came in the classroom feeling a little happier than usual. She was actually smiling real smiles. Perhaps it was just a little bit of happiness that kept her spurring.

"Morning!" she sang, plopping down on the first seat she set her eyes on.

Whistling an old trail riding tune Vette sauntered into the class and sat on top of the shelving unit at the side. She swung her legs slightly as she whistled and pulled her book from her pack. Setting the leather knapsack down in front of the shelves she leaned back against the window and purused her book in the glowing radiance of the sun. These people sure looked funny trying to look like they were sitting in desks on the floor. There was lots of book shelf and wall space. Why sit in the middle of the floor when the professor was known for his dramatic entrances. Yvette personally thought that Professor Skydancer just liked to feel like he was still on stage at times.

Glancing around the classroom as he entered blearily, Julian yawned, stretching. He really needed more sleep. Sighing softly, he glanced down at the floor, deciding not to sit down unless he fell asleep. And wouldn't that be a riot, he thought, blowing a strand of hair off his forehead as he crossed his arms.

Crossing the floor, he glanced over at Yvette, giving her a slight nod. If there was any student he knew better than to mess with, it would be her. Leaning against a wall, he hummed softly to himself, momentarily closing his eyes.

Post by Ondrea Montgomery Thu Apr 26, 2012 4:40 am

Ondrea very nearly chose to skip music class. Noise in combination with the headache that had been pounding on the inside of her skull all day made for rather acute misery. However, she figured that getting in trouble with the headmaster would prove even more miserable.

Entering the classroom, she braced herself for... nothing. Wait - what? Why wasn't everyone warming up? Ondrea racked her poor brain, trying to recall. Oh. Right. Private practice sessions - no in-class practice.

    Thank. Merlin.

Stretching (which hurt, though she didn't show it), Ondrea smiled at the others already in the classroom.

"Good morning," she greeted. Moving lithely across the room, she hopped up onto a short book shelf and waited for the professor to arrive.

Walking sedately into the classroom Basil adjusted the long royal blue cloak on his shoulders and the silver clasp at his neck. The cloak swept around his leather boots and his stylish dress pants. His shirt was a slightly deeper blue than his cloak and had small silver buttons. Approaching the desk the rocker turned and sat on top of it.

"So composers," he said, addressing the class after taking a mental register of who was there. "For the next two lessons we will be studying a couple of classical composers. Next year we may do a couple of more." Basil clapped his hands together loudly and kept them clasped together. "So who can tell me the names of a couple of different composers?"

Dani pursed her lips. She knew this question... now if only she could remember. It may just be because she was looking in the wrong place in her mind...

Who knew naming just one composer would be so difficult?

After a single moment of racking through the part of her mind which memorized most of the information she received, Dani knew the answers, and calling them out was as easy as one, two, three. "Tchaikovsky, Brahms, uh... Mozart," the girl replied, gently tousling her hair.

Opening his eyes at the sound of the Professor's voice, Julian blinked owlishly for a moment, eyes adjusting to the light. Rubbing his eyes, he tilted his head in Dani's direction, listening to her answer.

So they were listing composers? Shuddering slightly at the mention of Mozart, he said, "Beethoven and Bach," stretching as he answered.

Ondrea winced slightly as the professor clapped his hands. Sensitive hearing + headache + loud noise = owwww... Rubbing slightly at one ear, she considered the question.

"Clementi," she replied. "Liszt, Chopin, Vivaldi, Handel."

"Excellent," Basil praised. "That's a point for every composer said, so five points each to Prideaux and Angelique. Now all the way back in your third year we discussed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his contributions to music as well as Ludwig van Beethoven, the composer that created some of his best work after he went deaf." He released his hands and shot a discrete apologetic look at Ondrea, realizing what time of the month it was.

"Now, today we will be discussing Antonio Vivaldi and his Four Seasons movements as well as having at a look at Georges Bizet and his four act opera, Carmen," the rocker instructed. "Does anyone know anything about these two composers?"

Ninette looked up at the man impassively, putting slightly more effort into paying attention than she did in some classes.

She liked music... she just didn't like to admit that she liked it.

"Vivaldi got some nickname cause he was a ginge, Red priest or something in you know.. Italian," she shrugged playing blase even though she had the full Italian ringing in her head - il Prete Rosso. "Oh, and worked at some... abandon sheltery thing or something."

She shrugged and leaned against the wall. "You know, like an Orphanage."
