Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble

Samara bit her lip heading into the classroom. She sat down silently unsure of being in this class knowing she was horrible when it came to potions unlike her mother. She sighed softly pushing the thoughts away from her mind.

She looked down silently strands of loose hair falling forward as she did so. her eyes closing hiding her green eyes. She took a deep breath before opening her eyes looking around the classroom taking in her surrondings her face blank.

Aimee walked in, she saw she wasn't the 1st to arrive and breathed a sigh of releif. She walked over to a desk near the back and begin to arrange her things ready for the lesson. Potions wasnt a favourite of hers but she done ok at it and recieved average grades. She looked around and sighed when she saw no one else had arrived, only the girl who had been here before.

Aquila bounded into the potions room, and skidded to a stop, his shoes slipping on the floor and he almost fall on his butt.

"Well that was close," he laughed. Smiling, he skipped over to a seat. "Ladies, howdy."

Rose smirked when she followed Aquila into the classroom and almost bumped into him when he skidded to a stop. She grinned and placed her hands on his shoulder and shouted "Boo!"

She looked over to the other girls and grinned widely. "Hello Samara again!" she said happily then looked at the other girl "Hey! I'm Rose, i don't think we've meet?"

Charles walked into the classroom, seeing a few people he had seen in the previous potions class. He looked around and sat on the first chair he could find. He didn't want to talk to anyone he didn't know.

She looks up when she hears someone almost falling over and stiffles a laugh. When she says hi, she turns to look at Rose and smiles slightly. 'Probably not. But I think I have seen you in some classes over the years. I'm Aimee. Nice to meet you.'

Roman entered the classroom with his heavy bag slung over his shoulder. Upon noticing that a lot of people were already there, he frowned, hoping that he wasn't too late. He chose a seat and began taking out his things, already in an unusually quiet mood.

Samara frowned slightly when Aquila didn't fall. She let out a slight sigh returning to setting her stuff out not really caring for the quickly filling up classroom. She glanced up hearing her name called she notticed Rose.
"Hey..." She mumbled

Aquila just laughed as Rose tried to 'sneak' up on him.

"Better luck next time Rosie," he smirked as he said the name knowing she had 'forbiden' him from doing so before. "I got eyes in the back of my head. I'm like a nijia, I have great stealth and gra-"

His words were lost as he tripped over a chair.

"I'm okay!" he called raising a hand into the air. "I totally meant to do that. I like it better down here anyways."

She couldn't keep it in this time and burst out laughing. 'Nice leg work.' She said, not carrying she didn't know the guy at all. Great, this is why you don't have any friends. She thought to herself.
She turned away and began to read the potions book, losing interest.

Jordan had just left his Dark Arts class, and remembered his next scheduled class was Potions. He quickly ran towards the class in fears of being late - he didn't want his first day of third year to go to poorly. His first class had gone perfectly, but there was no need for this one to go wrong - not yet, at least. As he ran through the dungeon areas, he approached the classroom, which seemed a little desolate to him, outside at least. Hell, maybe he was late - typically students would still be walking in now, or he was incredibly early - either way, he didn't want to take any chances. As Jordan got right up on the door, he noticed a lot of chitter chatter going on in the room - obviously some people knew each other, or they were bickering - which he didn't want to be a part of. So long as no one was a mudblood, he would fit in fine - or beat the hell out of someone, which wouldn't be good. As he stepped into the classroom and looked around, he let his presence be known to everyone else.

"Am I a bit late... or are all yous just overachievers?"

Samara couldn't stop herself from laughing as she finally saw Aquila hit the ground. A small smile formed on her lips as she watched him fall. Not bothering to feel the slightest bit guilty about the fact she found his pain hilarious.

Samara finally calmed down by the time she some else entered-Jordan. She made a slight face not remembering him from any of her previous classes. Though there was no doubt he was in her year and not just mistakeningly wandered into the wrong class at the wrong time. She took a deep breath still recovering from her laughter. "No your not late, the professor isn't here yet" she said simply to his question.

Kas waltzed into the room and looked at the students.

"Wow, full house today," he let out a little laugh, which turned into a slight frown, and then a louder laugh as he looked at the boy on the ground, "Deciding to forego the desk today Turrow?"

"Oh boy we have shrinking solution today," Kas grinned. "An exciting lesson."

He waved his wand, the instructions appearing on the board.

"Anyone know anything about this potion? Really dying to share? Or are you all just wanting to get started on your work?"

Aquila waved his hand at the professor, proping himself up on his elbows, but not getting off the floor.

"You know it, Kas," he grinned, "Its so much better to learn down here- really helps the blood flow to the brain."

Samara raised her hand slightly "The Shrinking Solution causes the drinker to decrease in size or apparent age." she said looking up at the teacher her chin resting on her hand not really paying attention to Aquila or anything in general.

Mystical had been late to potions, she had gotten herself lost wandering around the castle, she keeps telling herself that she should just go home, but she wanted to be away from there.

Slinking in the back of the room she found a seat and sat down, looking at the board she could tell that they were making Shrinking solution, that should be easy enough she thought.

She was trying to think about anything she knew but there were so many people in the room she was afraid to answer.

Samara looked away from the proffesor to see who had sat down in the room. Her eyes landed on Mystic. She smiled slightly at the girl, She gave a small wave looking over at her. Wondering silently why she was so quiet.

She sighed stopping herself from furhter pursuing the thought knowing it wasn't her place to be wondering such things. She didn't want to pry into matters that'd just get her into trouble.

Rose grinned at Aquila "A ninja eh?" she said as she watched him fall down. Feeling a bit childish she bounded up to Aquila and sat down on his back. "Yup! Comfy" she said before sticking her tongue out at him. She looked up at the professor then at Samara, grinning. "Is that safe?" she asked "If it really does decrease people in age then we've gotta be careful" she mumbled before poking Aquila "Especially you!" she exclaimed "We don't want a baby Turrow around the castle!"

Kasper laughed at the young boy who reminded him a fair bit of himself, "Well be that as it may be Turrow, you're going to have trouble brewing from the floor - so why don't you just pull up a seat, and everyone can start brewing."

"It is quite safe - as long as its brewed right; a potion can always go wrong if brewed wrong. However I shall not be asking any of you to drink what you brew, so you'll be completely safe."

He clapped his hand, and began to prance around the room as the children - hopefully - did as he asked.

Samara moved begining to prepare the potion that had been set before her preying that she didn't mess it up and do something horrendous to the potion. She bit her lip beging to prepare the ingrediants as her book instructed her to do.

Her hair was tied up and out of her face to ensure that it didn't fall into her potion or anything. Her dark green eyes running over the text on her book as she paused her work to ensure she was doing it properly.

"Sorry I'm later Professor," Taryn muttered as she entered the potions classroom. Great, late for another class, she thought with a sigh and looked around at the other students before making her way to one of the seats in the front. "What's going on?" She asked the Slushatel girl next to her.

Samara glanced up from the Uchitel girl who'd just questioned her. Her hands stopping their progress as she moved to speak, ever hesitant to do so. She sat the knife down. Turning towards the girl slightly, recognising her vaguely from her Occlumency class.

"We are brewing Shrinking Solution." Samara said kindly to the Uchitel, who seemed to be already to be having a fairly bad day. Not particularly wanting to cause girl's day to be any harder.
