History ~ 1st Years

Miles left the Slytherin Common 10 mintues earlier than he had to, he thought he would casually make his way to class, he then strolled up from the dungeons and walked into the History of Magic class, he wasn't surprized to see he was the first person there

He walked to the front row and took a seat, he then pulled out his quil and notebook, and waited for the class to begin he hoped it would be more productive than last term's lesson

Charlotte walked into History of Magic, and saw only the Slytherin boy she'd met at the kitchens with Sergiy.

"Hi," she greeted with a small smile before making her way to the front row and seating a few seats from him. She took out her Muggle book and continued reading, the story was interesting her.

Miles looked over at teh door as he heard a someone address him, the voice sounded familiar, it was the girl he had met in the kitchens and talked to talk briefly last term in History, he smiled back at her

"Hey" he was about to begin to make small talk when he saw he quickly take a seat and begin reading, he let out a small sigh then gazed out the window

"Helga Hufflepuff," Irelia siad curtly as she enetered the classroom, shutting the door behind her. "Who can tell me something about her?" she asked coldly as she walked to the front of the room. Her expression was dark and unwelcoming as she sat herself in her chair at the front of the room. "And I do not want to hear any stupid answers in my class today," she warned them.

Charlotte looked up from her book when Professor Arrakis walked in, closing it and putting it in her bag. She took out her History of Magic textbook instead and frowned, thinking of the question.

"She was one of the four founders of Hogwarts," she said, trying to remember anything more, "She supposedly had a gift for food-related charms and created a magical cup."

Miles snapped out of his daze and looked over towards the door as he heard the Professor enter, she seemed a particularly bad mood today, she asked what they knew about Helga Hufflepuff and she didn't want any stupid answers, Miles was wondering if this was directed at him

So he decided to keep quite, the girl in the class answered with what seemed like a believable answers, Miles had grown to dislike this girl she appeared to be stuck up, she avoided all conversation with him. He then gazed back out the window begining to think of all the hexes he could put on her, he figured if the Professor was in a bad mood she would not want to be dealing with Miles's limitied knowledge
