A Day in the Life (Jace/Ari)

Ari sat with her legs crossed beneath her.
She should have been doing homework, but for some reason, she was throwing stones as far as she could across the courtyard.
She had been doing this for several minutes before she heard the sound of footsteps. Curious, she turned to look at the entrance to the small area. "Hello?" she called.

Jace was taking a stroll through the school when he came across a courtyard. Having nothing better to do, he decided to relax there. He saw a girl throwing rocks and walked towards her. She turned around and Jace noticed that she was...kinda cute.

"Hey," he said, smiling crookedly. 'I'm Jace. A Hufflepuff and proud of it."

Ari's eyes glided over Jace, and she smiled a little. "Hello, Jace the Hufflepuff. I'm Ari. I'm a Gryff."
She indicated the space next to her. "Fancy coming to throw rocks with me? You don't have to."
But she secretly hoped she would, he was pretty nice looking.
