Personality: Tayla seems rather quiet until she's comfortable in her surroundings and the people she is with. Once she is comfortable though it can be quite difficult to get her to stop talking once she gets going. She is quite affectionate hugging people and calling them pet names once she knows and likes them well enough. She is a very friendly person and doesn't like to judge people without having at least spoken with them first.
Tayla can be quite insecure about her appearance and her value to other people and will get very quiet if she thinks she isn't wanted there. She can be very paranoid about things going wrong but tries to be optimistic even though she's a worrier by nature. Tayla is a very loyal person once you become her friend and is often the shoulder to cry on and comforter.

Overall history: Tayla grew up in Australia until she was 9 years old when she moved to London with her parents when her dad had a job offer. She was a very quiet child preferring to play quietly by herself than run around with the other children. It was due to this and her then extremely curly hair and tiny frame that she often got teased by the other children making her even more reluctant to socialize. The only time she ever really participated in social activities was when she went to her dancing and karate lessons preferring instead to spend much of her time reading and learning than talking with others.
Tayla being a rather intelligent child from spending a majority of her time reading was more comfortable speaking with adults then children her own age. When they moved to London worried about their only child her parents sent her to see a child Counselor who tried to convince her that she needed to interact with other children her own age. She kept seeing the counselor until she started Hogwarts and still sees him a few times during the summer holidays even though she has improved with talking to her peers.
Tayla is very close with her parents and speaks to them every week whilst at school. Both her parents were only children and her fathers parents and her mothers mum are dead whilst her mothers father is in St. Mungo's after loosing his mind in a potions accident. Her parents are extremely overprotective of her as their only daughter and can sometimes be ridiculous about it.
