Lazar Manor

Juliet was in her room she couldn't believe that she was actually pregnant she had only slept with her husband once and that was on the wedding night because she felt like she had no choice but to sleep with him. How was she going to tell Khariton she honestly didn't know.

Sighing she leaned against a wall thinking what she could do she could have an abortion but that wouldn't be fair to Khariton it was as much as his child as it was her's. She didn't know if he would come looking for her but wouldn't mind if he did it might give her some peace of mind though she just wasn't sure what she wanted.

Juliet began to cry why had her life had to be so hard losing her parents so young and then her brother, the arranged marriage and now this why couldn't something go right for once.

Khar had had a long day and he was going to go into his room and maybe relax with a book he just was not sure. It was hard to believe that he actually had a wife because he never saw her, once they got married she shared his bed only once and that was their wedding night. Khar had hope she would seek him out more, but apparently that was not going to happen.

He really wanted to talk to her, he really did love Juliet even if she did not love him. He wished she would at least let him attempt to be a good husband to her. He would give her anything that she wanted, if she would just let him in.

He was on his way to his suite he always passed Juliet's door and he would stop outside the door every time to tell her good night and that he loved her, even if she never came to the door. He was a proud man and was not about to go begging her to open up and talk to him or even come back to his bed.

This time as he stood outside her door he noticed something different, it sounded like crying. Why would she be crying, he knew that he hadn't fought with her over anything recently because she never came out of her room.

He tried the door and found it locked, so he tried an unlocking spell which actually worked. Normally he would not of come in but he was worried about her so he had to go and check on her.

Opening the door he looked around until her saw her sitting there on the bed crying, so he walked over to her and got down on his knees in front of her.

"Juliet can you please tell me what is wrong? I know you don't care about me, but I still care and love you and I want to help." Khar sighed.

Juliet looked up at him with tear stained eyes. "Just have been thinking about my past. But I have some happy news maybe depending on how you take it..." She paused and reached forward and grabbed his hand gently she stroked it stopping at the ring where she ran her fingers around it. Was she getting used to him being her husband, or were her walls just breaking down.

“I am pregnant.” She said as she looked down to the ground not sure how he was going to take the news. She did all she could do to push him out of her life but now she was wanting him in at least a little bit she was contemplating moving some of her stuff over to his suite for she was thinking now that she had his child it was time to start sleeping as husband and wife.

“Would you help me move some of my things into your... our room” She smiled at him slightly she still wanted to be away from him but not as much any more.

Khar let Juls take hold of his hand running her fingers along his wedding band. It was the first time she had actually touched him since their wedding night. He got up off his knees and sat next to her pulling her into his arms.

When she told Khar she was pregnant he sat there for a moment not know what to think. He was in shock that after one time she would end up pregnant. To be honest Khar thought she would have been using spells and potions so she wouldn't become pregnant.

"I am happy about the baby if you are happy. I would never ask you to get rid of the baby unless that is what you want." Khar was not worried about an heir at this time and he would never make Juliet do something she didn't want too.

Khar was a little shocked when she said she wanted to move in his rooms. That was the one thing he had never pushed on her. He told her his door was always opened to her, she was his wife after all. Not that she allowed him the same privledge.

"Of course if that is what you want I can have the elves start straight away.". Khar took this moment and kissed the side of her head.

"I do wish you would open up your heart to me. But I will except what you give." Khar sighed

Juliet leaned against him noticing for the first time that he wasn't the guy that she had always thought he was the guy that would steal away her freedom but instead he went along with her stubborn ways up to now wasn't it time to give in a little and let him have something that he had wanted.

"I don't know what I want really just think it is time for me to stop being so stubborn and let you in more." She smiled slightly as he kissed on the side of the head she was liking his touch no one had touched her like that in years mind you she had closed herself off from everyone. Now it seemed like all the pieces were falling into place and her feelings were beginning to change towards him.

"Yes I am sure I want to move in with you and I want to have the baby god willing." She reached up and stroked his face before pulling his head down towards her gently and kissed him.

Khariton smiled a little as she leaned into him, with his arms around her and held her close to him. Every time he saw her in the house the few times she was out he just wanted to walk up to her and just hold her and tell her how much he loved her.

"Well I have known most of my life how stubborn you can be, so I let you do your thing. I just wanted to know that I would always be around should you need me."

Khar was enjoying the feel of her in his arms, it was like she was meant to be there, what surprised him the most was when she kissed him, it sent chills down his arms when she did that. She had never kissed him like she wanted to, the kiss they shared on their wedding day, and night was all coming from him.

"I can't promise you I will always be the proper guy, but I am willing to try for you." He leaned in and kissed her gentle again.

When Frankie popped in Khar gave him instructions on moving her things into his rooms. There was already places available for his things because he had them ready for her when ever she was ready for him.

Juliet was sure that her feelings for him were changing but she just didn't know how much they already had changed. She just wanted to remain in his arms for the rest of the night. She belonged to him and that is where she wanted to be at least for now. She knew that she could always have a room to call her own.

"You know what I think my feelings for you have changed a lot more than I thought they had." She closed her eyes as he kissed her and leaned into him a little more she was really enjoying the attention and that was all she wanted really was someone to hold her.

"I understand that there will be days where I won't want to be around you. However I will not lock myself in here anymore." He really deserved a wife that didn't keep to herself all the time.

Khar continued to hold Juliet while she talked and he was glad she was going to stop shutting him out of her life.

"Juliet I would never push you into things you do not want to do, I just want you to let me in a little."

Khar did not care how much time he was going to have to take with Juliet, she was moving in wanting to be the proper wife for him and that he was glad of. Sometime soon he would have to talk to her about what he actually did for a job because she would have to attend parties once in awhile.

"Its getting late, why don't we go over to our room and retire. All I want to do right now is hold you, and be glad for what I have." Khar kissed the side of her head.

"Alright love you lead the way." She said with a chuckle as she stood up and pulled him upto his feet. For some reason she didn't want to leave him. She knew that things wouldn't always be perfect but that came with all marriages she kind of wondered what he did for work but did not want to ask at the moment she was finally feeling happy with him. She did not want to mess up the moment she knew she would need to work on things they both would but everything would come in time.

She knew where the room was but wanted him to lead her into it. For some reason she felt like a lost puppy she hated how she felt. She hated feeling week in anyone's presence yet alone Ariton's. She smiled at him brushing a stray out strand of hair out of her face.

Khar could not believe how happy he was at this time, having Juls back in his bed made him happy. He had to smile when she stood up and pulled him up to her. He pulled Juls into a hug and kissed her.

"Thank you for the chance to care." Khar took her hand and lead her over to the other room. "Let me get ready for bed and you can too."

Khar went and got his clothes and headed into his bathroom to get ready. He wore plaid sleep pants and blue shirt and went and climbed into bed and waited for her. He picked up a couple of pieces of work he had next to the bed and picked them up to work on them while he waited for her.

Juliet smiled as he walked off to the bathroom to change. She moved to the walk in closet and sorted through her pjs to find the perfect set to wear for the night. Settling on a black camisole and a pair of white shorts she slipped them on checked herself in the mirror that was in the closet and she braided her hair so that it would not be all tangled in the morning.

After she had finished getting dressed she walked out and headed for the bed where she hesitated slightly before climbing in beside her husband and smiled slightly it would take time getting used to sleeping with someone but she was going to give it her best shot.

Khar was a little nervous when he watched Juliet come out of the bathroom. He thought she looked beautiful in what she was wearing. He knew that his body was screaming for her, but he would not push her into anything.

He was watching her as she climbed into bed he tried to smile at her. He thought he would be safe to lean over to her and kiss her cheek.

"Love you, Juliet. You look beautiful". He loved her hair in a braid.
