Personality: Deva is a very silent and serious looking person who does everything she can to protect those she is charged with protecting. But despite her silent demeanor, she cares a lot about people in general, whether they be her friends or not. She is not someone you want to meet in battle, as she turns into a cold and heartless creature when she's fighting. She gives no quarter and shows no mercy.

To people who mean her no harm, Deva is very kind and can even laugh and enjoy herself. But too many people fear her so they usually stay away. When she walked by new people, she hoped with all her heart that they wouldn't shudder. But now, she has given up on hope. She depends on no one, not old friends, not new ones.

Overall history: During Deva's upbringing, people feared her because of her strong talents as a witch, even before she started Durmstrang. This lead to her spending a lot of time on her own and being feared by new people. She never established a healthy friendship to anyone, and she has a lot of enemies. Due to this loneliness, she hurt herself deliberately just to come to realize that she truly was alive, as it was the only way to know this when she lived a life without happiness or love or anger. Only pain. Whilst hurting herself, she established an unhealthy lust for blood. The scar on her back was something she got from her father, who hurt her whenever he wanted to. Her mother didn't even care. So she was alone all her childhood, also during her time at Durmstrang.

One day when her father was beating her, something inside her snapped. She had been training a lot on how to be able to defend herself from horrible people, like her father, and now, she simply attacked back. She was about to run when he hit the floor, but he cut her, which gave her the big scar on her back. He hauled her back and then she turned, and snapped his neck. She instantly grabbed his wand and pointed it at her mother, who seemed to be shocked, before it turned to rage and she pulled out her own wand. Not knowing what Deva was doing at all, the wand in her hand did what she was imagining, and after a flash of red, her mother lay bleeding on the floor, dying. Deva ran and never looked back.

After having killed her only relatives, Deva had no idea of what to do. She lived on food from trash cans and sometimes stole food from open markets. Until Deva got caught at the age of eleven. She was then saved by a professor at Durmstrang and she was admitted to the school.
