Ksenia’s History
Ksenia Sokol, born Kyra Volans, is the only remaining descendant of an ancient pureblood family. Many know of the legend of the Coeus witches, but very few were aware of the fact that women with the Coeus blood flowing through their veins are still alive today, until that fateful day five years ago. For many centuries Ksenia's female ancestors lived quietly, keeping the secret of their powers and taking blood vows of secrecy from their partners in order to be sure that no one would find out what power they held within themselves: the ability to enhance the magical strength of others with their touch. That power increases by a percentage and when an ordinary witch or wizard comes into any sort of physical contact with them they will not think anything as their magic will gain little strength for a marginal amount of time.

In the minds of the war the family has remained in their Manor protected by the spells placed upon in, not knowing that their secret was being discovered through the research of the old history journals. To the great devastation of the Volans family, they have found themselves ambushed by a group of dark power-hungry wizards. They have presented two choices to Maximilian and Vienna: hand their daughters over freely and their secret will be kept safe or resist and end up murdered with the whole world finding out that the Coeus witches are still alive and well. Not wanting their daughters to become prisoners for the rest of their lives, the Volans couple sacrificed their own lives leaving the two young witches enough time to run. Albina knew that with the whole world knowing their secret that it would be safer to separate from her sister. With great sorrow, she had sent her little sister to Russia, creating new names for both of them while remaining in England by herself. She had no idea when it would be safe for her to see her sister again, knowing that both of them were being hunted by powerful wizards. Unfortunately for them both, the sisters were not able to meet again as Albina was murdered about four years after she separated from her sister.

During the first three years of her education in Durmstrang Ksenia kept to herself and immersed herself in studying to forget what happened to her parents, to forget her past life. In the middle of her fourth year however, she was brought out of that trance when she was approached by Abraxas Montague, a man five years older than her who she knew from her childhood, who was always aware of her true identity. Having no choice if she wished to remain hidden, she married the man who always wanted her as his wife. Ksenia’s disgust for her new husband soon turned to fear as he began physically abusing her.

The witch almost lost all hope, but soon she was bringing herself out of yet another nightmare when she approached the Sicarius heir who had just arrived at the school. Lucifer had agreed to kill Abraxas for her and in the process placed her under the protection of the Mafia. As a rather hasty decision the two performed the ritual that would bind their souls with a Warrior’s vow which made the Sicarius warrior in question responsible for the safety of the witch receiving the vow with his own life. Needless to say the pair was approached soon after by Lucifer’s father, Azazel, who was not the least bit happy about the situation. Nevertheless everyone was aware that the vow could not be broken by any means, and apart from escalating the tension between the three nothing was achieved at that meeting. The kill was performed on that very night at the ball held by Abraxas’s sister. Everything went very well and very quickly, though there was no time for celebrations after Lucifer and Ksenia arrived at the Mafia Mansion, to be attacked verbally by his father once again.

The tensions were high that summer in the Sicarius home as everyone remained in their separate corners. Ksenia had spent the time in the library searching for the prophecy that tied the Sicarius and the Coueus bloodlines together yet did not find anything on that subject. What she did find however was that her father’s side of the family were well known Necormamcers in the dark circles. The information was kept hidden from the general public and as she was only eleven years old when she was killed, the witch did not know of that fact.

Soon enough she was on the boat back to Durmstrang as a Prefect for the Slushatel House, ready to face another year of study. The first half of the year went rather calmly apart from several conflicts with her new guard, Treshawn Beneparte, assigned to her by the Mafia. That however did not last more than a few months as he was removed by Azazel himself. To Ksenia’s surprise the leader of the Mafia had welcomed her with open arms this time, maybe it was the fact that Lucifer had found himself a girlfriend that was not Ksenia and was no longer distracted by her or maybe it was her powers that he was interested in.

One more surprise altered the witch’s life soon after her sixteen’s birthday when the twin brother who she knew nothing about had arrived at Durmstrang. Dameon, like all other wizards born into the Volans family was taken from his parents at birth and placed in a hidden Necromancer academy where he studied the art of controlling the dead for the first sixteen years of his life. His removal from his family was essential in order for him not to be distracted from his training. Ksenia was aware of the fact that there was a possibility of her having a brother, however she never dreamed of it, knowing that to do so would be very dangerous for her own safety. Now with Dameon’s arrival, she had gained yet another man to breathe down her neck and none of them offered any emotional support while she struggled through the last year of depression caused by the abusive marriage that has in turn escalated her feelings of seeing her parents die right in front of her and being separated from her sister.

Now
Now Ksenia has become a rather cold person, very rational and objective. She is emotionally detached and is set on finding herself a husband who would be able to keep her safe from any more adversaries. She had no one to rely on but herself for several years before she asked for the assistance of the Sicarius family. Now she knows that she has no choice but to become dependent on someone if she wants to preserve the power of her bloodline.

Relationship
Ksenia is not looking for an emotional attachment in a relationship right now. She had been waiting for such support for over a year and has not found it anywhere, instead withdrawing her feelings into herself. It would be more like a business arrangement for both of them. She would be looking for a wizard who is skilled in some sort of combat and perhaps her power could aid him in some way. Right now though, she is very tired from so many years of constant struggle and will need some time to return to full strength. What she is looking for in a potential partner is some understanding of her situation and some patience. That is how she sees a relationship starting for her right now.

After freeing herself from Abraxas she had become more closed off than before and very resistant to building any kinds of romantic relationships. Now though, after kissing Valec (the manwhore that served as her guard briefly), surprising herself very much by doing so, she had found herself enjoying it for the first time and that in turn has brought the issue of finding a husband forward in her mind. With the pressure of centuries of witches on her shoulders and the thought of being laughed at for her weakness by historians of future generations if she lets the bloodlineaz die out, the witch has become more than determined on doing what was required of her, saving the ancient bloodline.

Story Development
Ksenia is a rather blunt person, though she wouldn’t be rude. She has a very sharp mind and ideally is looking for a partner who is like her in that sense. This could be a good point of where the connection between the two could start building. I am open to any suggestions on this part as well as what kind of relationship they will have.
