Swish and Flick... or Something Like That|| Fourth Years

Wrapping her arms around herself Faye curled herself into a desk in the back of the room, her gaze roaming the room, though she wasn't entirely sure she was focusing on anything.

It was an odd thing her brain had begun doing over the summer, back in her oh-so-dull hospital room. She would be looking at things, looking at everything, but seeing nothing. It often felt as if she wasn't even thinking anything. She was merely...

Well...

She often almost compared it to her brain having already died... just nobody had told her body that.

Roman spotted Faye in her seat before he entered the room, and he pressed himself against the wall, right next to the edge of the doorframe, so that he was out of sight of anyone in the room. He took a deep breath, trying to fight back the sore feeling in his chest

They had never fought before. Ever. That thought had been haunting him since the day he got here. He tried to look down the hallway to see if anyone else was coming, someone that he could talk to to avoid being alone with Faye, but it was empty.

He sighed and leaned back against the wall. There was no way he could go in there. Not yet. And not while they were the only ones. He allowed himself to slide down to a sitting position and waited for someone else to arrive.

Dressed in a white robe and a black belt that people often wore to Taekwando or any other martial arts, Lae entered the classroom. She didn't care how unorthodox of an outfit this was; it looked good on her. Chara had remarked to her last night about how exposed the robe could be so she wore a shirt beneath it. Now, she was modest and fashionable.

"Good morning!" she greeted, a huge smile on her face. There were only two students there, the Hrabrost and the Slushatel - Merlin they looked adorable together! - but who cares? "I don't think you'll need to sit down today! Stand up, and take your places!"

The sound of the Professor walking in, jolted Faye back into actually paying attention to what was going on around her. Following the Professors orders, she got up slowly - A little fearful of what her legs would decide to do - but frowned at the way she spoke. She made it sound as if...

She cranked her neck to look behind her and just caught-

Roman.

Faye let her gaze linger on the boy before she quickly looked away, before quickly flicking her gaze back up again.

"Hello."

Roman managed a small smile as the teacher entered the room, appreciating that at least someone had the capacity to be cheerful.

His eyes caught Faye as she turned to look at him, but he quickly glanced away. He had a terrible feeling things wouldn't get back to normal with them for a while. At least, much longer than he could stand.

With one last look around the room to make sure no other students were going to enter, he stood up, taking out his wand.

"Well, today, class we are learning about..." began the Head of Uchitel, and then a noise she had completely dreaded rang across the classroom. She hung her head, shaking disdainfully.

"Sorry for the short class today," sang she, "we were going to learn about Impedimenta... I do expect you to know of the spell by next lesson!" She winked, waving her arm to dismiss the two students.
