They left France and moved to Ireland, where they lived on a small farm in the rolling green hills. Though Riley was a half-blood, she lived like a pureblood. She was never to speak of her father, and he was never to know she existed.

Riley grew up in an attic atop the house, reading and spending most of her time drawing, where she developed quite a skill in art. She was a mischevious little girl, almost always using magic, whether it be to prank someone, or simply for the process of learning.
