What lies beneath

The time had come to entrust his apprentices with the rest of their senses. His master had given him his senses at the beginning of his 5th year so it was only fair they received their at the same time.

He'd been feeling a little bad recently for leaving them to their own devices, but he'd had his own problems to be dealing with what with Sophia losing her memories and his new gift coming into focus. However he was planning on changing all of that. They deserved more that to be just deserted and left to fend for themselves.

Using the mental link between him and his apprentices he summoned them both to his office. It was simple and left him plenty of time to finish looking through the paper work for the next hit he'd received.

Damian had been doing a light workout in the Room of Requirement when he felt Asric's summons. Waving the training dummies off impatiently, he grabbed his discarded school robe and hurried out the door in his t-shirt and shorts.

Sensing his excitement, Lynne ran to meet him from whatever corner of the castle she had been exploring. The boy shot a grin down at his daemon, continuing through the corridors at a modest jog. He darted around fellow students in his path and ducked his head to avoid identification by a professor or staff shouting at him not to run in the halls.

Finally making it to the headmaster's office, the boy quickly spoke the password and darted up the stairs. Opening the door, boy and wolf entered, only slightly winded, despite the distance from they had run.

"You called for me, sir?" Damian asked, blue eyes bright with expectation.

Iva had been napping peacefully when the tugging had awoken her. A calling. Someone, somewhere was awaking her from the pleasent skumber of her nap to bring her to them. The girl rolled over and considered who would have the ability to do this, then decided she didn't quite care.

Taking shelter in the warm folds of the sheets, Iva barely noticed the click of claws against the wood floors.

Suddenly, a large gray wolf lauched itself on to the bed, barking and growling at the girl.

"Alright, you idiot, I'm getting up," Iva spat, rolling the mutt off of her. Sitting up and throwing the sheets away, Iva managed to reach her perfectly folded uniform. She glided to the door, pulling on the robes as Zoya snapped at her heels, the wolf unimpressed at the girl's speed.

Aftr a minute's debate of where to go, the Russian found her way to her Master's office and whispered the password. Finding her way up the stairs, Iva found Damian already there.

"Hello," she yawned pleasantly to the Headmaster, leaning on a seat. Zoya joined her sister, growling playfully and nipping.
