Alive and Well

School had been back in session for a couple days, now, and still the rumors surrounding her absence the previous school year abounded. Clearly, Aria wasn't dead, and since people didn't just come back from the dead, that put most of those rumors to rest. (Regardless of the fact that she had, in fact, been dead and returned.) Most seemed to be coming to the consensus that she had attended elsewhere or studied privately for the past year.

That didn't stop the stares, however.

Aria let out an irritated sigh over her breakfast. Her juice caught fire, even as a blanket of moss spread several feet along the table and bench on either side of her. Stupid normal people. Didn't they have anything better to do than gossip and gawk??
