    aguamenti

It is a charm that conjures a fountain or jet of clear water from the caster's wand.Name from Spanish/Portuguese 'agua' (from Latin "aqua") + "mentis" L. mind.

TASK: At one end of the room, there will be bullseyes. Your task is to shoot water from your wands at the bullseye, which will trigger a reward. Have fun!

Frusteration seeped through the girl as she frowned at her wand. Being one to never not give things her best shot - even if she was hesitant of making a fool of herself - Faye had of course begun as soon as the instructions had ended.

But try as she may, she couldn't get more than a slight drizzle to fall out of her wand. It was a shame really. She was an embarrasment. The girl had always known it, her parents had made sure of that, though part of her had hoped...

Well she had hoped, that perhaps it was her illness that had been causing the problem. After all it had been a sickness of the blood, had it not?

But here she was, no longer sick, and she felt like she was worse than she had been before.

Flinging her wand aside she slide down the wall in defeat, "Its no use. I'm never going to get this, any of this."

Blake walked into the classroom to see the professor and another student. Well atleast she isn't early again. Blake took notice that the girl was in her house. Blake went to an empty table and looked to the board. This spell was easy enough for her to get it right. She pulled out her wand from her robes. She heard the girl say something.

Blake walked to where the girl stood and looked at the bullseye. Blake cleared her throat. "Aguamenti" Blake said. Nothing shot out. Blake sighed and spoke the spell once more. Water shot out and hit the bullseye. She looked at the girl.

"Keep focus and make sure you say the spell correctly" Blake suggested to the girl.

Faye looked over at the girl. Her irriatation made her wish to yell out that she had been doing both those things, but her brain allowed her to bite that retort back. After all the girl wasn't trying to do anything but help. It was not unkind to help.

Even if Faye did not like the points of her failing being pointed out to her.

"Thank you," she said softly, inclining her head slightly, "I'll try to remember that."

The spell was in all affects, really quite simple, though Aquila never really liked to put much effort in anything. So instead of getting it on his first and second try, and leaving it at that - as he probably should have - the boy goofed off, taking several half attempts to cast the spell.

And once he had succeeded in getting water, he wasted no time in aiming it at everything but the bulls eye.

It was well after everyone else had completed their task, that Quil actually managed to force himself into doing the simple objective he had been given.
