Personality: Lachlan, for the most part is your typical bad boy. Everything about him from the way he talks, dresses, and acts all point to this. He has trouble with opening up to people, often times deciding to just stay away from them entirely. Lachlan became fascinated with the 1950's and began to dress in that fashion. He spent a considerable amount of time finding these "ancient" articles of clothing, and spending quite a bit, to match that 'bad boy' persona of that era.

He's not exactly a bad person, he would help someone at the first chance he got, he's just a problem maker. He likes to grind people's gears and get them worked up, though usually to see what they're capable of.

Overall history: Lachlan was born in Scotland. His family lived there until he was nine year old, before moving to America. It wasn't much of a change for him, after all being so young he easily made new friends in the new school. His father, being a successful Doctor in Scotland easily found work at the nearest hospital. He had his mother to look after him at home, and he learned many things. It was at this age that he learned of magic, and his mother being what was called a witch. She was a muggleborn as she called it, and his father a muggle. (Their name for non-magic users.) He was told that it was likely he would have some sort of magic inside him, as his mother did.

It wasn't a lie, and when he reached eleven he found out more truly. He had tried to see what he could do (in fact he had been trying for years, with little success), and he knocked a vase off of the table. He was so excited and told his mother, who shared that excitement. They went off and bought him his first wand, which he still has to this day. They spent the summer buying him everything, and when school started, he was sent to Beauxbatons.

He was happy to be there, he found he liked the Academy. They taught him many things, including music! Ever since he was a small boy, he adored music, and went out of his way to learn more about it. Through the study of music, going back to find the more classic, is how he found the Beatles, and other greats of that time. He became enthralled with everything to do with it, which is why he now dresses as he does. When he returned home the first time from school, he made the mistake of showing some of his friends what he could do. They called him a freak, alienated him. They all but outcast him, and this turned him into the bitter boy that's alive today.
