Personality: Lachlan is a fun loving high energy type of person, he is often slacking off whatever job he has to go and have fun, becuase of this constant need to be a amused Lachlan has very poor patience and often gets bored of things quite easily. Lachlan is also highly caring in his nature he hates when people are hurt and while he may not be able to help them he definately tries anyway, he is also very impulsive and likes to take risks he see's that life is to short and you never know when it can all end therefore he tries to live everyday like it was his last, often doing the first thought which comes into his head reguardless of the situation. Lachlan finds that he is never out of engergy he feels as though he can keep going and going, hence why he tries to avoid caffentine where he can or he turns into to this hyperactive person. He can also be described as being quite childish in his thinking and actions, while he knows alot about history and is quite smart people often don't see this side to him mainly because most of the time he is being immature by playing around and just not taking things seriously.

Lachlan is very determined as well, if someone says that he can't do something he will work hard to prove them wrong, this is evident when his mother said that he was hopless and probably wouldn't be able to get his masters in wizarding history, later that year he proved her wrong by getting his master, though he has no ambition of being a teacher as for he would find that far to mudane and boring and he wouldn't be stimulated and therefore would probably just end up quitting. Lachlan is often know to be an adventure seeker due to this thirst for constant excitment he is often walking round exploring new places trying to find something exciitng which he can do

Overall history: Lachlan comes from a pure blood family they weren't particularly rich people but because they only had one child they tried to spoil Lachlan as much as they could trying to give him the best of everything, as a young child he was very interested in history and if he wasn't outside running around playing and being crazy he would be in the library reading lots of history books he just never seemed to get enough of it. When he attened Hogwarts he never had fantastically high grades except in History of Magic of course so his parents said they would sent him to Durmstrang if he didn't pull all his grades up, he failed to get high grades so they sent him to Durmstrang she only lasted a year before he caused so much troubl nearly getting him expelled in the attempts that his parent would bring him back home to london so he could go back to Hogwarts, this plan eventually worked and they brought him back to finish his schooloing of in Hogwarts. When he graduated he had no idea what he wanted to do in life but he knew he wanted to go teavelling even though his parents insisted that he at least try to go to University he ignored them and went travelling around France for a year, he enjoyed greatly and actually learne how to speak fluent French.

When he returned home to London his parents decided just to let him do whatever he wanted becasuse they felt he was already far to gone, he decided that he would do his masters in History and asked his parents for the money to go to Uni, but his mother felt that even though he really liked history that he would quickly become bored of Uni life and end up dropping out so she didn't want to spend all that money if he was just going to drop out, Lachlan eventually convinced her that he would do well, thats when she told him it was highly unlikely, But because of his determination to prove his mother wrong he went to Uni and completed his masters, his parents were over joyed at this news and said that they would buy him his own flat. Unfortunately when Lachlan went to apply for the History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts the position had been filled but he was told he would be put at the top of the waitingf list. So since then he has just been doing odd shifts at popular pubs such as the Threebroomsticks. Lachlan decided that he would get a job which paid well so he took up a position in the Ministry as an acrhives admin he was at this job fopr a year before he decided that he would leave becuase it was just so boring, he now works as an assitant to the Healers in St Mungos he enjoys this job because while there isn't that much to do he can get away with bludging and spends most of his working hours on the computer playing sonline poker, though he does still hope that maybe one he will become a Professor at Hogwarts, but right now he is very happy with his job at St Mungos
