Bree, after encountering a near death experience, has finally opened her eyes. She has realised that she has no friends or family that she can rely on, and that the only person that could possibly care for her welfare was herself. She feels lonely all of the time, and is nearing a breakdown.

Overall history:

Archer was found as an orphan on the streets by the council at the age of six- she did not know where she was or why she was there, let alone her parents. She could only remember her name. She was taken to a muggle foster home, unaware of her magical talent. No one adopted her when she was young, because of her distant, rude and rather intimidating attitude. At the age of eleven, a middle aged man took her in- Pierre Avery. This man had no family, and the soft side of Archer gave in and agreed to go home with him. She was abused by Pierre and blackmailed by him. If she told anyone, he threatened to take away her shelter. He discovered her passion for books, and burned all of them in front of her, then proceeded to burn her hair. Her magical abilities kicked in then, and she killed him. Unnerved and frightened of her ability, she lied that it had been an accident.

She spent four years on the streets, disappearing from the muggle world. She had no wizard education. One night in the forest she stayed in, an old man saw her conjure water to drink- something she taught herself. The old man was a wizard too. His name was William Brown. At the tender age of fifteen, he took her in and raised her as his own. He was wealthy and was able to afford tutors for her, so that she could take her OWLs and NEWTs.She had a rare soft spot for him, and he to her- they were both known for their coldness. When Archer was 19, William was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He had little time to live. He tried to give his money all to her through his will, for he had no spouse or family- but for legal reasons, he could not give it to her. William, in a desperate attempt to make sure she was well looked after when he was gone, married her. They had no romantic feelings whatsoever, and they never wore the rings. To them, it was just something on paper, and their father/daughter relationship remained the same. He passed away when Archer turned 22, and she inherited his Manor and wealth.

She became involved in the weaponry business not long after the man's death. Bree almost fell in love while she was at the peak of her career, but he left, with no explanation.

She proceeded to make a deal with the demon Djinn.
