Samara walked a long a shelf of books. Books of a older date and time that looked to have been forgotten or have lost there necessity in existing. Their thick bindings taking up space on shelves their old pages yellowing with the passing of time.
She let out a small sigh her fingers running across a spine of one of the books. Her once long hair had been cut much shorter coming just short of the middle of her back. It was braided tightly. Streaks of gold seemed to become ever present in it as the rope of hair caught the streaks of light that made there way through the shelves of books.
"It's been quite a while since I've been here" She mumbled in a quiet tone to herself doubting anyone would hear her, the place seemed quite empty and most people didn't hear her usually so she wouldn't of expected this time to be any different. The seclusion amongst these old books seemed to be a comfort, they were a friend in a world where she'd never really had any, and that having become very clear with her recent absence while she was away dealing with family matters.
She took a breath pulling the old yellowing tome from the shelf flipping it open her eyes glancing over the page as if looking for something to escape into and away from the world in which surrounded her.
