She supposed it was a little obnoxious of her, certainly disrespectful on some level, but honestly, who could blame a pregnant woman for wishing to sit down? And sure there were other, guest chairs there, but they were hardly as comfortable as this chair, and the way they had left the room set up, the one that was usually behind the desk had just been that much closer.

Vera had used the excuse of getting some paper of some sort that needed to be signed for Brock as an excuse to get out of the office for a bit. Restlessness had settled in again, so she had jumped at the opportunity immediately, and dashed right out of the room.

However as soon as she had gotten up here, there had been no deputy in sight and she had begun to feel tired again.

Thus she found herself in the chair, leaning back against the desk, glancing at her feet with an appraising glance.
