Koehl sighed and boarded the train, taking a look at her parents for the last time until christmas. Her mother was smiling, her blue eyes glittering with unshed tears. Her stoic burnette headed father had a tiny smile on his face, but for her father, that was a full blown grin. She waved at them, and went in search of a compartment.
Koehl found an empty one about the middle of the train, and sat down on the cushy, but lumpy seat. She took out her History of Magic text book, delving into its depths, waiting for them to leave.
