A forbidden night [Open]

It was same as every night. Alexis sat up in her bed, gasping for breath, her hands trembling from her nightmare. She was waiting for everyone to fall asleep to sleep beside the lake. But a week's worth of exhaustion had caught up and she fell asleep. But now everyone was sleeping. So she had no problem leaving the dungeon without making a sound.
She planned to go to the lake, but changed her plan at the last moment. She changed her direction and entered the forest. It was silent, except for the creepers. It was eerie almost, but nature always calmed her down, the quiet moonlit night didn't fail her, a small smile graced her lips.
Alexis almost forgot how long she walked, then she reached a meadow, a small stream gave the area an otherworldly beauty. She leaned down on her back, closing her eyes. Ahh, she sighed, peace.
