Lesson Four H&PE (First years)

Asric stopped right in the middle of the field and glanced at his watch. He was ten minutes early, so decided to go for a last minute run to get his body working. He was still making his way back when the first students began to arrive.

Val held her sister's hand like a lifeline. After everything lately, she needed the comfort her twin could provide. "Where's Headmaster Chaos?" She whispered to Becky, a moment before she spotted the man running their way. 'Never mind' She sent over their link. 'Found him.'

"Hello Professor." She said out loud to the approaching man.

Rebecca allowed her sister's clinging. Most people didn't seem to understand that while Valerie was the cheery one, she was also the more fragile one.

Spotting the man, she was about to answer, but the latter message came through and she just smiled. "Hello Professor." She saoid at the same moment her sister did.

Damian made his way out to Hunting class. The grin he sent towards his master faltered as he belatedly recalled that his hair was still dark blue. Schooling his expression, he closed the remaining distance.

"Morning," he greeted the Greenway twins, then addressed Asric. "Hullo, sir."

Flora jogged into the ground, warming herself up. Seems like the Headmaster was of same mind. "Morning Professor." She greeted.
"Hello Damian, Rebecca, Valerie."

He came to stop just by the usual spot for their lesson. "Hey guys," He said as he took note of Damians hair. What? Never mind he thought, it could wait until later for now he had a lesson to do.

"Today will be a little test of stamina, strength, speed and quick thinking." He said waving his wand so a whole obstacle course appeared. "Say hello to Jim, the newest obstacle course." He said nodding towards it.

"The first obstacle: A 500M run to the next obstacle, this run will be going through bumps and holes so watch out." He smiled. "The second obstacle to block your path: the high wall. You will need to get over the wall but as you can see you can't do it alone and since the course is anti magic don't even try to do some spells to helpbecause they wont work."

"Third: The tires skip through the tires one tyre per foot." He smiled moving on to the next one. "Forth: the rope crawl, you will climb up the frame and crawl along the rope to the other side. Fifth: The barbed wire crawl, self explanatary simply crawl under the wire and avoid being maimed. Sixth: The net climb. You will have to climb to the top of the net then back down to the bottom on the other side. Simple. Seventh: Over the water rope hang, you will be climbing a rope over water to get to the other side where you will set off the signals then you will come back. Eighth: You will find a casualty you will have to bring this casualty to the end with you in one piece. Ninth: The metal prism, again climb up to the top and get down on the other side. Tenth: The log walk, you will walk down the logs and back into the last 200M to the finish line." e said turning back to look at them.

"Now do you have any questions?" He asked before pretending to forget something. "Oh you know what i forgot to tell you you will all be chained together. You're as strong as your weakest link." He smirked waving his wand so that they were all connected by a chain wrapped around each of their waists, giving them limited room to move alone. "Any questions?" He repeated?"

An excited grin had started to spread across Damian's face. The obstacle course sounded fun! It quickly disappeared as he found himself chained to all his classmates, however. He just knew one of them would slow everyone else down. Maybe if he was only chained to Seth...

Damian frowned. Where was Seth? It was bad enough the other boy was late to their master's class, but if he were miss it entirely... He did not envy his brother. Asric would not be taking to his tardiness (or absence) very kindly.

Seth was deadmeat. He knew it before he even came to class. He was late and Asric was going to kill him. Running like the wind he arrived at class to see class had indeed started already. Crud.

He knew he wouldn't be able to hide. Asric took everything in and knew he was late already. He had no excuse either. What would be the use of making one either? He could imagine the man could tell if he was lying or not anyways.

"I am so sorry Professor, I really am," he said taking in some breaths after just running all the way there, "There is no excuse for my tardiness and I except whatever punishment you have for me."

He looked over to Damian but then looked away. Not a good example for Damian being late and Damian was no doubt thinking him an idiot as well.

Damian grimaced sympathetically as Seth finally arrived. The other boy was probably dead meat. Then, Damian's expression quickly turned to one of horror.

Asric had told them that if one of them was in trouble, they both were in trouble. So, if Seth got punished for being late...

"Idiot!" he murmured inaudibly to himself, though, Seth and Asric probably heard him because they all had enhanced hearing. He was fairly certain Asric would mete out any such punishment after class, but still.

"Where were you?" Damian hissed at Seth, tugging a bit at the chain tethering him to the others.
