Talk with the Dead (Open)

"I wil," Aquila added with a firm head nod.

The boy pirked up a bit at her grin. He knew that type of grin, Aquila made that type of grin on an hourly basis.

It was only helped by what she said.

He nodded his head eagerly, "Yes."

Lalia was glad that she seemed to cheer Aquila up with her grin and she thought about how to do Cobalt, it wasn't hard after all he was the first person that she had learnt to copy.

"Well here goes."

Coughing a little Lalia launched into the impression:

"Hello, I'm Cobalt Smith, I'm secretly the owner of one of the most popular bakeries in the world and I'm Lalia's boyfriend."

Lalia broke out of it and coughed, the deep Irish voice was hard to do for a girl after all.

Aquila nodded appricatedly, "Not bad, not bad."

He raised an eyebrow as a thought came to him, and gave the woman an impish little grin, "Now are you really dating the Professor, or was that merely wishful thinking?"

He couldn't resist teasing eitherway - even though he knew one of these day, and probably quite shortly, he was bound to get in trouble for his teasing - most likely with it turning back on him.

As Lalia was told her impression wasn't bad she pouted slightly and she folded her arms across her chest as she looked peevishly at Aquila, she was good at this impression! She knew she was!

"Hey I'm good at doing him!"

She placed her hand on her heart, shocked, and she shook her head in disbelief.

"Of course I am! Why would I not be? Am I not pretty enough?"

"You're right, I'm sorry - it was a magnificant impression," Aquila said with a smile.

"You are very pretty," the boy said easily, "I just wanted to make sure; I got to say Professor Smith never struck me as a dating type."

Aquila looked at his watch and made a shocked expression, over exagerated as was his tendancy.

"Well, I'm bound to get in trouble if I don't start for home," he said with an impish grin. He was sure he could probably talk himself out of it - blame Ceph if he really actually cared and all else failed - but he didn't really want to put that much effort in today.

He picked up his pack and smiled at his companion, "It was nice to meet you Lalia - I will make sure you get that owl so you know I'm not dead."

The boy laughed and waved a hand at the tombstone, "see you around Barty."

With those greetings he was off, glad with what he made of the day.

Lalia smiled as Aquila said that she was pretty but as he said he was going to be late she looked at him with a slight frown on her face, as she watched him pick up his book and go she felt her heart tug a little.

"Yeah you'd best!!"

Biting her lip Lalia looked at her feet and sat down on a nearby bench wondering where Miles had gotten to and she sighed softly.

"I just hope you manage to stay safe..."
